"Long time no see captains daughter"

I turned around and saw none other than Mason, my childhood best friend

"Mason?"

He smiled and it melted my heart to see him after 3 years.

"It is you!" I ran to hug him and he flew me away in his arms.

"I missed you" he whispered and it made me feel a bit... what was this feeling, let's just say that I never felt this way before.

"Ohh Mason I missed you too!" he chuckled

"How are you?" I asked while he brushed off my messy hair through my ear.

"Never been better, I graduated last month and I came by to see my best friend in action"

I chuckled

he looked at his watch ⌚ and put on a disappointed face.

"Why what's wrong?" I asked

"Meeting at 6:30.." He responded

I put on a disgruntled face.

"what about we meet tomorrow?" He asked

"yeah 8:00 you down?" i added
