27 Fighting Ants

He gathered some dry branches and leaves and pile them. He set them on fire and blew the smoke in the ant's direction. The ants were keen on the smoke. It affected their heightened senses of the larger ants, and force them to retreat into the cave.

"I'm so genius it scares me, I'm just too good" Joey felt his idea was good for a sure of the moment thought. He didn't expect his plan to work this well. He continued to fan the smoke over the corpses and more of the more threatening ants retreated.

The small ants continue to ravage their queen's corpse, but Jacob waited to see if they would leave after being affected by smoke. After 30 minutes he decided it was time. The largest ants were around his size but it was better than the super creature ant.

He made his decision and ran into the smoke and grieved the ant. All Jacob had to do was go close to it. It was already agitated by the smoke.

"I never understood why ants are so hairy, now it looks creepy '', Jacob had seen ants like these many times when he was considered a genius but felt they were beneath him. He never considered them as anything. Now he was weak and their appearance made him a lot more afraid of them.

He gave the ant a scared slap and ran away into the forest with the aggrieved ants chasing him. He swerved through trees to break his speed and trip up his movement.

"I can outsmart this guy, just think Jacob" Jacob thought of ways to fight him. He slowed his speed and made a sharp turn that made the ant capsize.

Jacob jumped and stomped in the head of the ants but it was not easy. He was not some regular ant you could normally squash. It had a hard exoskeleton that protected him. The Ants was enraged and screamed. It started to chase Jacob. "Dammit, I should have studied the sutra I obtained from the system, but they will be done with the corpses by that time. Damn!"

He took off in the opposite direction and managed to lose his pursuer while hiding in a tree. The Ant chased him deeper into the woods, and it became lost.

"Sigh, I can't kill an ant. A fucking Ant" Jacob cursed himself. He checked his system but it did not count as fighting a beast. He needed more of an interaction.

"How the hell do I play this, Surely I can outsmart an Ant" Jacob wracked his brain. He was in a tree hiding, he thought of luring the ant below the tree for an ambush. His eyes had a light of realization, he then took out his Lost Art Of Doom and dropped it on the ground and the ant quickly reacted.

He quickly checked the source of the sound and found nothing to do with the creature he was following. It was just a book. H tampered with the book some more until finally, something jumped onto him.

It was Jacob, Jacob lured the Ant below him and jumped into his back. He used his momentum and drive his feet into the ants back, He was frail at that part and Jacob knew it was his weakness.

*Screeeech!*

The ants screeched in pain. It was flexible and snapped back and tried to bite Jacob. "Damn, I really underestimated him, I thought he would break in two after 1 strike, Jacob underestimated him. The ants ran toward him, but Jacob didn't run.

He held his two fists together and slammed its forehead to the ground. The ant snapped pincers trying to bite him, but Jacob was above him. He took his fist and punched into its nodes. The ant was stunned and its legs shook, he did this a few more times and broke his appendix.

The ant was broken in two.

He let out a deathly shriek before his eyes lost all life and he died. "Damn, these guys aren't that tough, they're just creepy looking." He started to dig around in his corpse and then took out the gene core. It was clear and shone with white light. It didn't have any attributes, but the size of it was depressing. It was the size of his coin. Jacob sighed "Its gene core is too weak, I can't do anything with this".

Jacob grunted and decided he would look into it later. Mosquito legs were still meat.

He pocketed his little gene core and checked if his kill counted as a fight. It did."It seems they have to attack as well, I can't aggravate them and run" He put away his system and made his way back to the cave entrance where the two super creature corpses were. Smaller ants were still there feasting on the corpse of the Queen Ants and were carrying Its body away.

"Fuck no! These bastards want to keep their whole body,?" Jacob dashed the corpses. Some Ants were around his waist while some reached his ankle. He didn't put much thought into his action and their appearance. He ran toward them and started to kill them.

He was outnumbered immensely but they were smaller than him and could be easily destroyed. Jacob crushed them and broke their bodes in halves. He crushed everyone that ran toward him. He crushed their mandibles and punched in between their eyes; this was their weak spot. He fell good, For the first time since he was crippled, He felt alive.

"raghhh" Jacob screamed, He tore ants in two and the blood stained his skin, The ants swarmed him but he mowed them down. He felt like a war god beating their heads in with his bare knuckles. He fought them for hours until they finally abandoned the Kuta king corpse and rushed inside with the queen's body.

*cough*cough*cough*

"Pussies….cough…. They could handle me at all…..cough..cough" Jacob was coughing a lot after he inhaled a lot of smoke from the fight. "Maybe the fire I made was too good" Jacob ran out of the smokey area back into the forest for some clean air.
