Chapter 73

It was amazing how two women were planning similarly. Xiu Ying, on the other hand, was worried. She was going to get a present for Weixi today with Zhang Wei. Funny enough it wasn't the fact that she was going out with Zhang Wei that made her nervous, it was the fact that she didn't know what to get Weixi. One could say she had gotten used to Zhang Wei…as what she didn't know yet, but they were on closer terms.

This time, she headed out with a taxi instead of her own car. She wouldn't make the same mistake as last time. She took a taxi to a nearby café near his office and sent him a text. He told her that around that time, he wouldn't be too busy. She got a reply some minutes later that he would soon be there.

They also agreed that they wouldn't take a car that stood out. He didn't have any of those, so he bought one on a short-term notice. Even she hadn't seen it yet and sincerely hoped that it wouldn't be a car that stood out.
