When are we meeting next?

Sheila nodded opening the door for the girls, when she bumped into someone. She felt a slight pain in her head, as her forehead had come in direct contact with the person's chest. She groaned slowly lifting her head. Her lips opened and closed, as she gazed at the most intense green, or was that emerald eyes she had ever seen? A blush took residence on her cheeks. The guy surprised, held her shoulder to assist her.

"Are you okay?" His deep voice sent a shiver through her spine. She smiled at him and shrugged his hand off her. "I'm okay."

She moved back and stood beside Mia who was smiling at them both. Beth wore a scowl as she glanced between the stranger and Sheila.

"I'm Chris. You are?" He stretched his hand out for a handshake. Sheila rubbed her hand on her pants before stretching hers. "I'm Sheila." She turned to Mia and Beth. "And these are my friends, Mia and Beth."

He didn't stretch his hand to them. "It's nice to meet you, ladies." He turned his attention back to Sheila, "Can I have your contact? I need to make up for hurting your pretty head with my hard chest."

Sheila chuckled, "You definitely have to make up for that."

He smiled, revealing a set of beautiful dimples on his cheeks. They exchanged numbers, and he bid the ladies goodbye. The moment they were out of earshot, and carefully tucked in the safety of Mia's car. Mia shrieked, "Wow, Sheila. That was intense, and he is beautiful. He definitely has his eyes on you."

Beth snorted, "He is not that handsome to be called beautiful. If I was to grade him, I would say a six out of ten."

Sheila ignored her and responded to Mia. "I know right? I just hope he would call. For a minute, my brain definitely went on leave. I didn't know what to say in his presence."

Beth laughed, "That's obviously because you have low taste in guys. There is nothing swoon-worthy about him.

Mia frowned, "That's too harsh, Beth. I think he is handsome, and Sheila deserves to stick to her personal taste in men. She has a good taste."

Beth rolled her eyes, ignored them, and brought out her phone to reply to the text she had been ignoring. She had always considered herself the most beautiful, the smartest, and the most successful among the girls. She was a model on a five-figure payroll. She model for the best brands in the city, and she had a lot of ambassadorial gigs. The only thing she wanted so badly was what Mia had, and she hated her for it. Biting her lower lip, she texted;

'When next are we meeting?'

A tap on her shoulder made her look at the ladies staring at her. "What?" She asked, a faint blush appearing on her chin;

Sheila looked at her phone before her gaze settled on her face when a frown, "Mia asked if we should do Chinese or just snacks?"

Beth sighed, "I can't eat anything heavy. I have lots of work lined up for his week."

Mia stared at her, a tinge of jealousy creeping up her chest; She had always wanted to be a model, and just when her career was about to pick up, she met Jack, got married, and left her career. What would it have been like if she had continued modeling? Would she have become a top model like her best friend, Beth? She shook her head not wanting the thoughts to settle in. She had made her choice, and she was living with the consequences. "You know what? Let's just do some snacks because of Beth."

Sheila frowned, "But I want something more solid than snacks."

Beth rolled her eyes, "You better start watching what you are eating before you get too fat."

Sheila chuckled, "I'm not fat. It's called having flesh and curves in all the necessary places. Not that you will understand what I mean."

Mia sighed, "It's okay, ladies;" She smiled at Shelia, "Sheila, let's just do snack today. The next time it's going to be based on your choice. Promise."

Sheila glanced back and forth between Beth and Mia. She didn't want to give Beth the satisfaction of doing what she wanted after she had picked the dress she believed would have been better for Mia. What a bitch!

She had no idea why Mia was hanging out with someone like her. She does not encourage her positively. She tried to stop her from getting things that would have benefitted her, and her pieces of advice were always working against Mia. Whenever Sheila advised her to be careful with the way she trust every word that proceed from Beth's mouth, she reminded her that they had been friends from diapers and that Beth wanted the best for her.

"Okay. As long as I get to pick where we are going next."

Mia breathed out in relief. "Now, Let's have some fun and complete our night."

Mia drove to the nearest eatery, which wasn't far from the mall. While she and Shelia continued discussing Chris, Beth was quiet. She only grunted whenever she was asked questions, and continued to type on her phone. It was starting to piss Sheila off, and she wondered why she followed them in the first place if she was going to be on her phone all day. She might have just gone to work, or whatever was demanding her attention, and was causing her to be all smiles on her phone.

Mia got down first and stretched her limbs. She didn't like to drive, but she would pick it over her husband hiring a spy, who would disguise as a body guide to give intel on things she did daily.

Mia smiled, as she put on her sunshades to block the impact of the sun on her face. She wasn't looking where she was going and mistakenly hit someone, falling in the process. Strong muscles held her and assisted her up. She smiled up at the grey eyes that narrowed at her and assisted her to stand upright.

Meanwhile, Beth pulled out her phone and took every shot while the stranger's hand was on her. She was such a whore, and Beth was going to teach her a lesson.
