The Non-Typical Route

Vyl Myi glared at the devilishly handsome Lur Ivs and said to him telepathically, 'Would you die if you don't oppose me for once?'

Lur Ivs just playfully shrugged.

Vyl Myi countered, "Thankyou for your insightful comment but they would be much more welcomed after I am done laying out the plan."

Nes Dva looked at Gic Myrn and lamented telepathically, 'Ah!... Here they go again.'

Gno Xmer just shaked his head helplessly.

The twins didn't even need to communicate. They just looked at each other and already understood the other party.

Yro Ren was as expressionless as ever. But with one look around the room, the temperature inside dropped as everyone felt shivers run up their spine.

Miraculously, the group were now at their best behaviours with their entire concentration on the discussion.

"Myi, continue."

"Yes, leader Yro. So as I was saying, in order to not give them the shock of their lives, we should first take control over the superpower countries."

"According to the intelligence report of Ona Pnev and Ona Pnec, the leading countries of the UN of planet Zexl026 are country C, where we are currently, and country U, country F, country R and country E are the rest four countries."

"So we could start with these. Once we take control over them, the next part of our plan can be easily carried out. Since these countries have power to veto any idea put forth."

"Wait." Yro Ren stopped Myi from continuing.

"So, you are saying that we split up between these five countries and move forward. Correct?"

"Yes, leader Yro."

"No. We aren't splitting in so many parts. If we split five ways, two of us would have to complete the task alone and we can't take that risk."

Yro Ren's stance was clear. Her gait staunch, with no room for any objections.

The gentle and calm Gno Xmer added, "Though all of us can shapeshift and are telepathic, shapeshifting is gender constricted. We can't change our genders. Moreover, only the females have healing abilities while only the males have invisibility. So, we'll target at most two of the five countries and divide in a team of four each, to be on the safer side and have each other's backs."

Yro Ren nodded in consent.

"Leader Yro, if we are to target just two countries, then we should go with country U and country R. Country U has the greatest impact on the people of planet Zexl026. While country R is sort of in opposition of country U. That way w..."

The lazy, playful voice of Lur Ivs interrupted Vyl Myi yet again, "Tsk. Are you sure you are considering the whole picture, hm?"

"Country U is fine because as you said, whatever happens there impacts the whole world. But choosing country R just because they would oppose country U? Really?!"

"Miss Vyl, I think all the travelling has taken a toll on you, making you unable to think straight."

Vyl Myi glared at him. Right at that moment, she wanted nothing more than to tear that haughty face down.

Then Lur Ivs turned towards Yro Ren, "Renren, I think we should go with country C instead of country R"
