Saving the older woman

After picking up the package and having a small talk with Marie, Celia stopped at the nearby restaurant to have her lunch.

"Your order will come in thirty minutes, miss."

"Thanks."

Celia drank her water while looking outside. People of all ages were minding their own business when a small crowd gathered in front of the clothing store and Celia's restaurant.

Two women and female staff were scolding an older woman who was pushed to the floor by them. None of the crowds dared to help, which made Celia clench her teeth in anger.

"If you can't afford to buy our products, don't touch with your dirty hands. Who knows if you've stolen that card and claimed it as yours?"

Celia's brows frowned, and she couldn't stand what the female staff said. Leaving the restaurant, she immediately walked towards the sorrowful elder lady.

"Grandma, what are you doing on the floor?"

Calling the older woman with love, she helped her up and dusted her clothes before glaring at the three women.

"Who, between you three, dared to push her on the ground?"

Her cold and void eyes made the bystanders and the women shiver. The young woman, clinging to her mother's arm, cleared her throat before stepping up.

"I told the staff to do it. So what? Are you going—"

A clear slap sounded throughout the mall as people quieted down. The silence made the bystanders gasp in shock. A hand was printed on the arrogant young woman's cheeks as Celia looked down on her then to the staff and the woman's mother.

Because of Celia's height, despite wearing sneakers, she was taller than them making her look like a supermodel.

"Who taught you to push people, even the elderly, as you wish? Oh, your mother was like that too. Like mother, like daughter. They don't respect people just because they have a little bit more money than common people."

Celia turned towards the crowds and scolded them heavily.

"I'm disappointed in all of you too. You didn't even lend your hand to stop these arrogant women despite seeing a fragile and older woman being pushed down the ground. If it were your mother or grandmother, would you still have the shame to stand aside and see your family member suffer? I don't think so. Because family or not, I disagree peopled disrespecting the elders and judging them without knowing them personally."

The crowds took Celia's words seriously and were ashamed of what they did. Suddenly, a child came forward and threw his toy towards the three women.

"Bad woman, granny's hurt, and you didn't say sorry."

"What did you—"

"Young miss!"

A group of two handsome men in a suit came and bowed to Celia. The crowd immediately thought that she belonged to a prestigious family since she had guards around her.

Kevin and Robert look at the older adult and a young child who clung to her arms.

"Kevin, call the police and report physical abuse to an elderly woman. Robert protects the child and its grandmother."

"Yes, miss."

Kevin immediately reported the case to the police, and Robert followed Celia's instructions.

Melly, the arrogant woman, and her mother, Debby, sensed the dire situation and tried to escape. Robert grasped their arm and twisted it to their backs as they cried out in pain.

One of the people in the crowd recorded the whole event on their phone, so it caught what Robert did to the two women.

It didn't take long for the police to arrive, and Celia re-stated what exactly had happened. The two policemen glared at the two women who were cuffed and brought to the station. Watching them dragged away while they swore, Celia stared at them with disdain in her eyes.

Walking towards the shivering staff, Celia saw Robert coming out of the store with a man towing behind him. Celia smiled at Robert's quick understanding.

"Miss, what can I do for you?"

The manager nervously gave a smile and saw his staff nervously standing beside her. Robert and Kevin appeared behind Celia, giving her an even more intimidating aura.

"Is this how your staff treats their customer? This staff pushed my grandmother on the floor till she skinned her palm and even dared to call her poor and dirty."

"My apologies, miss. I will immediately dismiss her of her duties."

The staff gasped and cried and begged for forgiveness. Celia didn't look at her and entered the store. The remaining staff behaved in their best behaviour as the manager followed behind. Celia scanned the bags and purses before turning around to the team.

"Where was the bag that my grandmother asked for the price?"

One of the staff raised his hand and professionally showed her the item.

"I'll buy it."

The staff immediately scanned the item, and Celia took her black card without batting an eyelash. The whole store cleared their throat at the surprise they suffered. They all blamed the female staff standing outside for her stupidity in offending an outstanding customer.
