Pretty sister

"Joseph!"

A beautiful young woman appeared outside of the store and scooped the child in her arms.

"Didn't I tell you to stay where you are? You worried mommy so much."

"But I saw granny being bullied."

Julienne saw Nila standing not far from her. She gasped in shock and quickly walked towards her and saw the peeled skin on the bottom of her palms.

"Mom."

A group of guards appeared Julienne as she scolded them for not watching Nila properly.

"Julie, it's fine. I told them I wanted to walk around by myself. It's not their fault."

"But still, you got hurt. Brother will be pissed if he saw you hurt and will try to eradicate whoever hurt you."

"It's fine, and a young woman kindly helped me. Not only did she scold the crowd for not helping me, but she also slapped the members of the Dobrey's and called the police on them for physical abuse."

"Really? She doesn't have any motives or—'

"Oh, dear, of course not. I can tell that she's a wonderful woman."

Julienne opened her mouth to say something when a tall, cold, beautiful woman in casual attire walked towards them with a shopping bag. Her cold and frosty face was replaced by a warm smile, making her whole demeanour like a fairy of a goddess.

Celia was the most and gorgeous woman that Julienne had seen in her entire life. She couldn't believe that there would be someone even more beautiful than Cathy, the daughter of a prestigious family in the top 5 in the capital city.

"Grandma, here you go."

Nila took the bag and saw a box. She looked at Celia, who had a soft smile before opening the package. Nila gasped in shock and saw the bag she asked for a price earlier before being thrown out of the store.

"This…"

"I bought it for you. And if you ever wanted to shop for bags in the future, just come here so I could give you a discount on every item you bought."

"Discount?"

"Yeah, I just bought the store, and now I'm the owner of this store."

Celia knew that it was risky to buy the store off the bat, but she couldn't let go of the excellent opportunity offered at her table as a business owner. The store's location was perfect. It was located in the most populated places within the mall. It means there would be a lot of people that will visit the store.

The only problem the store has is the lousy interior design. Celia wondered who hired a designer must not know colours, furniture, and intricate designs.

"Young Miss, miss Anna said that the storage is ready for the materials."

Celia nodded at Robert's reminder. She took a business card out of her purse and handed it to Nila.

"This is my card. If you want to shop, call me, and I will let the store knows. I'm Celia Mowry, by the way. Sorry for the late introduction."

Nila smiled and shook hands with Celia.

"No problem. My name is Nila Jones. This is my daughter, Julienne, and my grandson, Joseph."

Celia glanced at the two new people. Julienne shook her hand and warmly smiled while Joseph ran and hugged her legs while looking up.

"Pretty sister, you were cool a while ago! You looked like my cousin when you were fighting with the bad people!"

Celia smiled, and her crescent eyes sent the hearts of the people to thump furiously. She bent down and patted his head.

"Well then, you must learn from your cousin so you can protect your grandma and family when troubles come to you."

"That's right! I'm also learning martial arts from my cousin. He's good! You and he are my idols."

"How old are you?"

"I'm seven!"

Joseph showed the number in his fingers as he beamed happily. Julienne watched Celia with shock in her eyes. She knew best that her son wouldn't talk to any strangers outside of their family, and Celia was the first person Joseph personally spoke to with a happy expression.

"That's great! For a seven-year-old, you're brilliant."

"Really?"

"Of course, which is why you must study hard and help your family so no one could bully you and your family in the future."

"En! I will! I'll work hard and become like a pretty sister!"

"What about your cousin?"

Celia teased Joseph as he scrunched his face.

"He's handsome but not pretty like pretty sister."

Celia laughed and kissed Joseph's cheeks as they turned pink. Her laughter shook the crowd's heart as a lovely melody entered their ears.

"Then this pretty sister will wait until little Joseph becomes like me. Is that fine?"

"En! I will!"

Joseph stood on his toes and kissed Celia's cheeks before running to Julienne and pestered her to go back home so he could continue his studies. Celia smiled in glee and stood up to bid goodbye to Nila and Julienne.

"It was nice meeting you, Nila. I have an appointment, so I must go."

Nila nodded her head and took Celia with a surprise as she hugged her. Celia returned the warm hug and almost tore as the warmth reminded her of her dead mother.

"Take care of yourself, dear."

"I will."

Nila smiled at Celia's back and left with Julienne and her grandson back to their household.
