"It wouldn't matter even if I told you since you wouldn't remember anything after drinking from the river of memories. When the time comes, you'll have to make the decision on your own."
Akira sighed as he heard this and softly spoke, "I guess we'll have to part our ways there, won't we? You'll go back to reaping souls and I'll probably choose to be reborn."
"You want to be reborn?" Zaelek raised an eyebrow as he asked.
The man smiled as he spoke, "I don't know. But spending an eternity in an unknown place like heaven doesn't sound very exciting. It sounds peaceful but boring. I doubt I'll like it there. I think I like Earth better so I'll just choose to be reincarnated."
Zaelek almost wanted to laugh as he heard this. Under the heavens and throughout Earth, there was someone who could say words like this as well... It was rather refreshing.
Naive... Yet refreshing.
