"In any case, it's good that you're back. Don't disappear again. I still have things to do. I'll go and tell Miss Ayami that you're back."
"Try to put in a good word for me," The man smiled as he spoke, "I already feel bad about being scammed. I don't want to be scolded for it as well."
"Sure."
As soon as the man left the room, Akira's secretary sighed in relief as he patted his chest.
He went and locked the door first before taking out the pendrive that he had hidden under his desk. Luckily, it looked like no one had tampered with his office and the pendrive was there just as he had left it.
He gulped as he put the pendrive in his pocket and collected a few other files and his personal belongings.
He now had to get out of there as fast as possible before he was forced to face Ayami.
