Antony Brown's docileness made Sandra Smith reluctant to talk any further.
"I bought a plane ticket to return home tomorrow; my work will be handled by Secretary Jones for the next week."
Leaving?
A shock ran through Antony Brown.
"Where are you going?"
"Next week is my father's death anniversary, Mr. Brown, haven't the invitations for the company's anniversary already been sent out?"
"You know that I never attend the anniversary of the company's listing."
Antony Brown certainly knew.
The date of the company's listing coincided with her father's memorial. It would be too cruel to make her celebrate with everyone else on such a day.
"Sorry."
"No need."
That night, Sandra Smith left Antony Brown's villa.
She saw Felix Jones at the entrance and softly briefed him on some matters to note.
She also mentioned some detailed issues about interacting with Antony Brown.
