It seemed that he was trying hard to suppress his emotions.
Betty Harrison looked at him and didn't dare to speak for a moment. She probably noticed Amelia's bad mood today.
"Ask Ben Clinton to come over," Amelia Cobb took out a note paper, wrote a string of numbers on it, and handed it to her.
Betty received the note and went out to call Ben Clinton.
"Yvonne Jones seems to want to go to Frovence to take over the Glenn family's case," Betty came back after calling Ben Clinton and carefully reminded Amelia.
"When?"
"The original plan was for Sunday, but I don't know if it will be rescheduled."
"What day is it today?"
"Wednesday," reported Betty.
Amelia's slender fingers sifted through her hair, slowly kneading it, and her downcast eyes didn't give Betty an appropriate answer for a long time.
After a while, Betty gathered her courage and shouted to Amelia as if facing a deep abyss, "Mr. Cobb."
"Call John Brown over." Amelia still had her eyes closed.
