Statement

"How did you get hurt?" A man in black jacket and a pair of blue jeans trousers asked while sitting on a still close to a hospital bed in the smallest ward.
Apparently, he was not alone. He had come with two more people to get a statement out of a possible Assault victim.
Lying on the bed next to the detectives that had come to see her was Mikayla.
Lying on that bed, she looked very unrecognisable. Her eyes were swollen, a sharp cut happened to kiss the side of her cheek, getting to the corner of her left lips.
Her arms were bandaged, accompanied with one of her legs that was currently hanging on a lift.
In all, she looked so different and pathetic, but thank goodness that she didn't hurt her head.
"Someone pushed me." She managed to say through the sharp pain that numbed her to madness as her lips moved.
Damn the pain! She just wanted to get out of bed to deal with a certain bastard!
