40 Possessive

The day has changed to noon, Daniel, who as usual, is still busy at his desk taking care of the paperwork, not to mention the time for the place to be taken up because the staff that he previously entrusted with realizing the project he had planned, seemed a little off from his expectations, thus requiring him to make a sudden meeting the team he appointed was responsible for the project.

"I'm sorry, sir, this is a call from Miss Jenni."

Instantly Daniel stopped his activities and immediately looked for his cellphone, lying on his desk corner.

Daniel's eyes were perfectly rounded when he opened his cellphone screen, which turned out to be ten messages and ten miscalls to him.

'Are my ears having trouble?' Daniel softly realized in his mind his stupidity.

Shortly after that, Daniel looked at Jack and tried to ask Jack whether it was Jenni, his lover, who contacted Jack or not with a silent mouth movement.

"Are you satisfied with your job? Can't you just pause it first to fill your stomach? You want to make me worry again with your condition—"

"I'm waiting for you at the cafe near my campus. If you don't come, I'll silence you to an undefined limit," Jenni said quite firmly.

To be honest, it wasn't Jenni's desire to force her like that. It's just that before hearing Jack's explanation of Daniel's job and how Daniel's mood was, Jenni has forced to choose this path so that her boyfriend would think clearly.

"I'll be there, wait for me fifteen minutes," said Daniel hurriedly.

"That's great, all right. Can you give this phone back to Jack? I want to talk to him."

Daniel's hand automatically handed over the cellphone to his secretary. But don't forget Daniel's sharp gaze as if he wanted to eat Jack.

A girl seemed to be playing with the straw in her glass, playing with the drink in front of her.

She's been there for almost an hour!

At first, she thought Daniel would pick up her phone quickly for that right when her lecture came out, which coincided with lunchtime she went straight to the café to eat together with Daniel, her lover.

But unexpectedly, Daniel difficult to contact and required her to call Jack, the secretary. Fortunately, his phone number was still stored on his cellphone, considering that recently Jack gets her because Daniel suddenly fell ill and was hospitalized.

"Can't you take care of yourself," Jenni whispered, quite annoyed at Daniel's behavior today.

For a moment, Jenni glance at the clock curled in her hand and noticed the number of minutes that Daniel had previously said.

A small bell that has pinned above the cafe's entrance averted Jenni's eyes.

Jenni smiled faintly to find her lover, who arrived on time.

"I thought you would be late or ignore what I thought it was wind," Jenni whispered, staring at Daniel.

Daniel sighed a little while shaking his head and sat himself down.

"Of course not dear, what you said earlier, as if to make me aware of my stupidity, I'm sorry because I returned to my routine that ignores my own condition when my mood became worse," Daniel said, confessing to Jenni.

Jenni nod herself and smiled thinly.

She was grateful that her lover had realized his own mistake.

"That's good. You can admit it yourself, without having me to mention it to you," said Jenni to Daniel, who received a warm smile from Daniel.

Slowly Daniel took Jenni's hand and rubbed her gently.

"Thank you. You are here for me."

Jenni just nodded her head slowly, and her smile grew more and more on her lips, adorning her beautiful face.

"This is the food," said a waiter who brought the food that Jenni had ordered earlier.

Daniel frown slowly, staring at the food that had been ordered by Jenni.

"You ordered for me?"

Jenni spontaneously nodded her head.

"If I didn't order it in advance, surely the worms in your stomach were screaming louder at me," screamed Jenni casually, to which Daniel replied with a little annoyance.
