Vera followed the boy's shadow behind with her defeated eyes. A single tear drops in her emerald eyes. Though she often gives off an intimidating aura for such a young age, she is basically a soft-hearted person, in spite of his father's strong rebuttal of the later part. For him, she is fearless, reserve, controlled, disciplined when needed and ruthless to the enemies.

Vera was trained at a tender age to take over the organization and, consequently continue her father's work. Because of this, people's expectation of her is high, and Vera learned to suppress her feelings until the day she meets Xu Long Wei..

In front of him, she became a different person. Her personalities take a 180-degree turn every time he is near. With him, she is bold, shameless, reckless and self-conscious. He ignites something within her that she could not explain at a young age. When she was alone, she heard some older ladies conversation about love and recognized her feelings for him.

The word love struck her like a bullet.

Who would have thought that she would experience being in love at thirteen years old? People call it puppy love, first love or whatever, but for Vera, her feeling for the quiet man is more than that. She knows that she loves the guy. However, since they are still young, she is worried about the possibility of him meeting others. She is aware that it's inappropriate for her to think in this way, but Xu Long Wei is, and his looks and mysterious character already captivated many teenagers.

Today, she wanted to make sure that he will not leave her but made a mistake of overstepping her bounds. They have four years age gap and based on her calculation, though it might look big at the moment; however, when they become adult, her father would not mind their age difference. All she needs is for him to agree.

"How on earth would I make him see me?" Vera's trembling voice echoed in the empty alley. She stayed in that place a few more minutes while she prepares her next move. After a while of weighing multiple options, she came up with the best and rushed to her house. She needs to get to her room and pack some stuff.

The children inside the vast mansion were startled when Vera unceremoniously opened the door. They stood up and lined quickly before greeting their young boss.

Not caring for any formalities, Vera directly commanded them to bring out three bags and help her pack.

Although they are confused, the seven children didn't voice out anything and instead followed her instruction without any words. They took out three bags and carried them into her room.

The seven children were even more shock when Vera came out from her personal vault lifting bundles of rolled paper. They know for a fact that those are their boss's design prints. If other people get a hold of it, they will surely hit the jackpot. These paper cost millions of products! They became more puzzled about what is going to happen.

Vera, clean her hands after packing all her blueprints inside the spacious bag. Today, she will part with her babies-her creation. This is something that she would never expect to happen; however, considering that this is all for her future household, she needs to sacrifice.

In Xu Long Wei's apartment, the boy is tirelessly punching and kicking the sandbag hanging on the wall. His body is covered with sweat, but he is too absorbed on his exercise, he didn't notice Vera entering his house.

"Hmmn. Not bad" Vera commented after sizing up his skills. She always watches him practice before, but this is her first time seeing the boy naked. She felt a little weird; however, what caught her attention is how the sandbag is about to burst from his excessive force.

The damage indention to that poor object is evident to the naked eye. This only shows that he uses more than enough strength when he releases his kicks and punches. With this, she could already visualize how the enemy would feel when they, unfortunately, face the boy in the future.

He might look weak and boyish now, but later Xu Long Wei will be someone that anyone would not dare to face off with.
