The Other Side of His Walls
Natalie was moping by her window since she got back to her room. In the morning, she really wanted to chat with Kevin and share all the juicy details about the opening event Alonso suggested she start planning. But by now, she didn't even feel like giving her best friend a call.
She was sighing when the door opened without knocking and Alonso walked inside looking much better than before. He had two mugs of hot chocolate with marshmallows floating on top.
Do these Valois siblings think they can always win me over with hot chocolate? "Hmph."
Annoyed that Alonso believed he could just come and go without any explanation, she went back to staring out the window without bothering to give him one of her warm welcomes. Setting the mugs on the tables by her side, he wrapped his arms around her from behind and rested his chin on her head.
"Hm, I see what's happening in here. You have decided to give your husband the silent treatment."
