Natalie and Alonso stood at the door of her apartment. She kept playing with her keys; as silly as it was, she did not feel ready to leave him for the night.

When she looked up at him, he met her gaze with a guilty expression that she did not understand.
"What?" she asked, a strange sense of fear crawling into her heart.
"We will have a huge wedding celebration whenever your heart desires it."
Was that why he felt guilty? She cupped his well-shaved face and then let her hand drift down to his heart. The look in his eyes was both warm and serious.
"Feeling this, your heart, smelling your perfume… As long as I can do this every day and every night, this is the commitment I want from you. I don't need any grand celebration to mark our union."
