Alonso's Hidden Decision
With the number of doctors Alonso had summoned to the examination room, it seemed like there was one for every medical specialty known. The most serious-looking among them was the young doctor who was fielding questions from the others about the test results she had conducted earlier in the morning.
Natalie sat up on the bed watching Alonso who stood attentively listening to the various opinions being exchanged. She was wondering when she would finally get to hear their thoughts firsthand when Alonso caught her eye. He offered a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes and walked over to her.
"What are they saying?" She asked with a small voice.
"They're saying that the test scheduled for you now is optional, but we're going to have it done anyway. It's as you and I have said, most likely stomach flu and stress," he frowned, "You were right about it before; your iron percentages are below normal. You will start a special diet as of today."
