Bullshit, Daniel! But, Samantha looked happy and looked relieved.

'I'm grateful. Do you know? I always find it easier to discuss anything with you. We have known each other since childhood! Why don't I just like you, right?'

At first Daniel also thought so. That they have something, but apparently not. Samantha was not attracted to him like a woman. He was disappointed, Daniel was not used to rejection.
