Albert and Hannah immediately flew to Singapore as soon as news of Xavier's accident reached their ears.

The man walked briskly along the hospital hallway with the help of a cane to support his limping leg.

"How is my grandson doing?" Albert asked bluntly. There were Daniel and Kenzo sitting on the waiting chair in front of the emergency room.

"Xavier is undergoing emergency surgery. His room is on the third floor," Kenzo told him.

Albert's brow furrowed before he finally said, "Then why are you two here?"

"Rachel is inside." This time it was Daniel who spoke. "Of course you know perfectly well that Rachel has no one. We couldn't have left her alone while she was fighting for her life."

Albert snorted at that. Hannah rubbed her father's arm then said, "Dad, we came here for Xavier. Just ignore anything other than that."

"Xavier got hurt because of that bitch," said Albert furiously. "You damn woman!"
