CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Dragging herself back home because she has been so stressed that day,on entering the house she saw everyone sitting down her mum her dad and brother and sister with a girl she didn't know.

"Goodness you are back we have been waiting for you for so long where were you and you know you have a son'.

Mrs kim says

"I am sorry, i am sorry" she says the look on her sister told her something was off then she asks no one in particular

"what's going on here ?"

the girl quickly got up to great Kim na-ra in a formal way which left her confused

"Sit down for crying out loud , Is that the morals I installed In you, i would have waited for your father but it's getting late and she" pointing at the girl whom na-ra does not know

"Would like to take a rest now "

"Okay"

she Says not knowing what was ok and what was going on no pretending to have an idea

"Sit down first let's all talk like a family we are"

"Okay mum, i've been so tired and stressed today tell me what's going on?"

"This is your brother's girlfriend "

"Wow you become so mature that you're introducing your girlfriend to me"

Kim na-ra says

"but let's leave all that for tomorrow i need to go and sleep" then she stood up turning around

"is she sleeping here for the night? "

Before Mrs Kim could talk her sister talks in annoyance

"You are always the smart one in our family, but not this time, she's pregnant ,Don't you see she's carrying a baby in her belly and it is this jobless man's child.

She says pointing to a senior brother, who payed no attention

"stop that it's rude to talk to your senior ones like that"

Mrs kim told her last born

"it is true i'm going to be a father soon ",His face could not hide the happiness for his pregnant girlfriend that showed on his face

For a moment her mind became blank,no wonder,Mrs kim was always the one they do push whenever there is something wrong in the house she was the only one who believed that she could talk to kim na-ra and na-ra would Listen, She was always the good child, the sensitive one,the one who made no complaint, the one who fed the family and now and there's one more mouths to feed unbelievable .

her mom continue saying like Kim na-ra has no say in the matter

" so this what is going to happen, when your dad comes i'll discuss it with him "

Mrs kim says then leave which everyone followed suit And for the next some minutes Kim na-ra just sat down there She was the one who provided for the family but her mum was the one who was controlling the family and she had always let it be that way, even now, her opinion do not matter .

"Let's leave it for another day" she thinks

Kim na-ra walks into a room to sleep,looking at her son sleep was like bringing peace to her heart picking her phone to call dong-ju to let him know that she has gotten home because she met him earlier,as he still tried persuade her to marry him.

"Noona get up, get up"it was in the middle of the night when she heard her sister calling her

"dad is at the police station he had a fight with someone"

She was so confused and tired that you just got up took one or two things there and told her sister to look over in-su running to the police station with her mum ,

on getting there, there was bruises on Mr Kim drunk face , though he tried to hide his face in shame when seeing his wife and daughter appear but that did not help because as soon as they entered the police station they had already spotted him .

Mrs Kim First reaction was to run over to your husband's side hitting him at the back "how can you at your old age fight with someone "

While all this was going on between her parents Kim na-ra did the apology, apologising to the man hit by her dad to drop the charges,not altering any word to her parents as she signed the papers and left while her parents walked behind her,she could hear her mom telling her dad to sleep in the pallor,from her room.

The next day she got up dresses for in-su And herself Quietly eating a meal and left While the meal was going on they all wispered among themselves

" is she angry ?, is she angry with us? for what ? "

They ask themselves not even knowing what was wrong And as soon as She left there began chatting she could hear them chatting As they got to know her brother girlfriend better but Kim na-ra just left,Not bothering to look back on hearing her name from behind Kim na-ra stop and look back to see her dad coming from afar

her dad ran after her

"Stop na-ra,stop ,I know things aren't good right now and i know We are also a burden to you"

" stop saying that father ?none of you are",

" don't Tell me that you were the one who worked between jobs to send your junior ones to school and at last eventually going to school yourself You tried your best to give us a comfortable life even if it's not perfect And now we are still all useless Weighing you down ,Don't worry before you get back i'll talk to them "

"Okay dad"

"thank you dad "

she says even if her mind knows that her dad had no confidence to talk to them, The only thing she felt pity for him for was the fact that he was the only one who does wrong and also feel bad about it unlike the rest of her family not knowing what they've done wrong.
