"I know it sounds cheesy, but I can't be truly comfortable staying at your place when we aren't married…" Lin Nuan said as she took a sip of tea with her ears flushing.
"I thought you would prefer being in a relationship first," Fu Huai'an said slowly and then glanced at his watch, "We can still get our certificate now if you want."
"Cough, cough…" Lin Nuan choked on her drink.
She clumsily flipped over her tea and coughed violently, her whole face turning red.
Fu Huai'an passed her a tissue and patted on her back gently. "You're a bit too old to choke on your drink, aren't you?"
How could someone be so instantaneous?
Lin Nuan wiped her mouth with the tissue and cleared the table. She looked at him as she tried to hold her cough. "Isn't it too rushed to do it this afternoon?"
Fu Huai'an glanced at her red face. "The security system is excellent at Cloud Condominium. I would worry less if you moved there earlier."
