Marriage plan

After lunch, Phoenix left the Qindom Empire and went back to her office to resume her work. A small smile graced her beautiful face making her look prettier.

Phoenix was excited at the thought of registering her marriage with Ashton. Unlike Ethan and Tiana, Phoenix and Ashton would inform their family about it beforehand.

Thus, at dinner time, Phoenix broke the news to her family in Hans' mansion, while Ashton told the news to his family at the Qins' mansion.

"I guess both of you can no longer bear living apart from each other, huh?" commented Cecilia.

A pink dust powdered Phoenix's cheeks, "Mom, is not that I don't want to live here…"

Cecilia put her palm up to stop Phoenix. With a smile on her face, "I know, Phoenix. I understand your eagerness," said Cecilia. "You all are your father's kids after all," mumbled Cecilia in a not so low tone.

"What do you mean by that?" Edward asked with narrowed eyes.
