Critical condition

"It was only bruises, no broken bones, no internal bleeding. There's nothing to worry about," the young doctor said after a thorough checkup on Phoenix's body.

Ashton insisted Phoenix to get a full body check up, more than what was necessary.

"The bruise on your stomach area was looking more severe than the others, but from the scans, there's no internal bleeding or anything like that, just superficial bruising," the doctor tapped his hand on the table, "I suggest you should take it easy and rest for a few days," the doctor added.

"Thank you, doctor…" Phoenix's eyes were scanning the white coat that the doctor was wearing but saw no name written on it.

"It's Zach Song," the doctor said and gave a curt nod towards Phoenix.

"Thank you, Doctor Song," Phoenix said.

"You're welcome," Zach Song said. He stood there and just looked at Ashton, waiting for the latter to say something.
