Comedy Show [Bonus chapter]

Ashton set the alarm at 6.30 am, to give them time to get to the rooftop garden where they could watch the sunrise from the hospital.

When the alarm rang, both Ashton and Phoenix woke up.

Phoenix got off the bed first to wash her face. Then, she went to get a wheelchair from the nurses, while Ashton took his turn in the bathroom.

Ashton looked at the wheelchair and his mouth twitched, "Phoe, I can walk," said Ashton.

"No, Ash. You can't strain your body. Just sit here and let me push you around," Phoenix wanted to prevent Ashton's stitch from accidentally opening up.

Phoenix was giving Ashton a look that said she wouldn't take no for an answer, thus Ashton reluctantly sat on the wheelchair.

It was the first time Phoenix went to the rooftop of the hospital. The rooftop gardens were reserved for VIP patients who needed privacy.
