"Well, Mr Gu. I have to go now. Have a good evening," Phoenix said. 

She picked up the paper bag containing her purchases and exited the store. 

Phoenix was walking back toward the small stall to pick up the engraved keychain when Philip caught up to her and started walking beside her. 

"Ms Li, did I do something wrong?" Philip questioned Phoenix. 

Phoenix steps halted. She turned to face Philip. "What makes you think so?" she asked. 

Philip pursed his lips before he said, "you look like you can't wait to get rid of me," Philip answered. 

Staring at Philip's face with furrowed brows, "I'm not. It's just, I need to head back home now. I'm sorry if I offended you from my behaviour," Phoenix replied. 

"If you are sorry, how about letting me send you home?" Philip asked. 

Phoenix lips formed a thin line, 'is this why Aston didn't like it when I said sorry? Was it because it was an invitation for compensation?'
