[Bonus chapter]Getting Phoenix's DNA

"Speaking of that…" Ashton paused. He sighed heavily, dispelling the annoyance that he felt at the situation at hand. "The suspect for the murder in Paradise is dead," Ashton said.

"What?! How?" Ethan shrieked.

Clucking his tongue inside his mouth, "How should I know?" Ashton said. "I've just received the news about his death. They'll be doing an autopsy to determine the cause of death," he added.

"So we face a dead end again. How are we supposed to know who he's working for now?" Ethan slapped on the gazebo pillar. "How can he die when I haven't made him pay for trying to kill my sister?" Ethan scoffed in annoyance.

Ashton snickered. "Phoenix had me. I'm supposed to pay that bastard for hurting her. Phoenix's issues shouldn't bother you," Ashton said.

"Ha! You? You failed to protect her from harm. Maybe I should reevaluate your, if you are actually worthy of her," Ethan retorted.
