Ryan knew he had fucked up after hearing what Rhett said. So quickly he ordered his boys to untie Genevieve's mother. During the process of them doing that, Raymond panicked.

"Where are you taking her to?" He asked even though he couldn't see their faces but that didn't mean he couldn't hear things. He could hear her soft whimper as they untied her, he blamed himself for bringing this upon her.
