"Morning mom",Lexi said as she sat at the table to eat her breakfast. "Morning sweetie", her mom said to her as she placed Lexi's breakfast in front of her.
"What am I .. a roach",her dad said pretending to be hurt, "haha sorry dad I almost for forgot you had the week off",Lexi said as she wolfed down her breakfast.
Lexi's dad was always out of the house before she got up because his office was pretty far from the house, so it was unusual for her to see him in the mornings. Her mom was a baker who made the goods at home and then delivered it herself so most of the time she was always home. Lexi's work started 8:00 am sharp, so she usually had time to do other things before work, plus her workplace was only 20 minutes away from the house.
"So are you gonna be be home by eight or nine",her dad asked as he finished his coffee. "Maybe nine",Lexi replied as she put on her shoes. "Okay then see you tonight",her dad said as she opened the door to leave, " Bye mom, bye dad", she said as she left.

"Man what a rush",Lexi said as she slumped into a chair in the break room. It wasn't even two o'clock yet and they had just finished serving 102 customers. "That's the most customers we have had this month",her coworker, Carla said.
The cafe she worked at was called, Rosemary Cafe. It is one of the most popular cafes in the whole town. They are known to have the best coffees and teas ever and are also known for their warm and hospitable atmosphere and kind staff. It was always full of people and it always had a bright and cheerful atmosphere. The old couple that owned the place we're lovely people that treated their employees like they were family. The old couple who's names are Laura and Henry Grayson, were in their late sixties. They had two children who did not want to inherit the cafe so the old couple decided to give it to their best employee but the didn't tell anyone. They decided to keep all their employees on close watch to see what their true characters are.

It was already evening and almost time for Lexi to clock out. "Hey Lexi you don't mind locking up do you", another coworker of her's, Eric asked as he headed out, "I'm taking my girlfriend out on a date","It's okay I don't mind have fun",Lexi said as she waved him goodbye.
Lexi was the only employee left in the cafe. "Welp time to close up",she said as she finished cleaning up. Suddenly someone entered the cafe. "I would like a cup of green tea please",the person said. Lexi turned around to find a very tall man in a suit standing behind her. "Coming right away sir", she said with a smile. She offered him a seat before going to the kitchen to make his tea .Minutes later she came back with his tea in hand."Here you go sir",she said as she placed it in front of him."Do you need anything else" she asked, "No thank you" he said before taking a sip of tea.
After he finished his tea, the man paid for it and said, "That was the best cup of tea I have ever had","Well we serve only the best at this cafe",Lexi said as she gave him his credit card back. "I'll be sure to stop by next time",he said with a slight smile. Before he left he asked, "What's your name?","Oh, it's Lexi", she said with a smile," And yours sir "," Call me Ash, but don't call me sir",Ash said before leaving the cafe." Well he seems nice",Lexi said to herself.
