" your engaged !?" Briana yelled pushing back her chair yelling at her father I for one hated him at this moment but hey all's well till it ends well right wait did I just say that right ... Anyway

Alexander sat there as if he had seen this coming

I looked at Mr Barker who stared at me before breaking eye contact and grabbing ahold of Alias hand

" What am I not to find love !?"

" You are dad just a simple I'm seeing someone wouldn't hurt ... Sometimes I think you don't even know us or want anything to do with us !" Ouch I mean my parents were in critical condition I honestly felt dead inside but it did hurt to think how he used me till his fiance arrived and lied he had liked me

Briana eventually spoke after Mr Barker couldn't find the right words

" You've officially become a stranger " and with that she walked away tears welling up in her eyes

Alexander looked at me as he woke up and walked towards the garage door

Which left me in the middle

" I'm gonna go check on them " i slowly pushed my chair back as I walked toward the garage door leaving behind Mr Barker who called me

" Charlie ... Charlie " but I ignored him

I found Alexander in his car hands gripped onto his steering wheel

"Hi " I said opening the drivers door as I stood bending my head to get a view of him

" Hi " he replied looking at me

" Let's go check on Bri okay ?" He nodded as he got of the car closing the door behind him I took a step forward but I felt his hands wrap around my waist as he pulled me to him capturing my lips in his , his kiss warm and tender he kissed me softly as if I'd disappear from his arms

His bit softly on my bottom lip drawing it before his teeth and releasing it slowly before he pulled back

" I'm sorry I should've asked if it-" i smiled

" It's okay Alexander" he smiled back

After a few moments of just looking at each other in the eye I broke it off by looking at his shiny black car

" Let's-lets go check on uh Bri okay?" He smiled as he laced his fingers in mine and walked inside

We entered the house but didn't see Mr Barker and his fiance

We took the elevator to Bri's room where we found her inside her head buried in her hands as she sat at the edge of her bed

She looked up once we entered I offered her a sad smile as I knelt down beside her Alexander seated on an armchair

" Hey Bri how you holding up ?" I asked bending to see her crying

" I'm - I'm just ... Just so annoyed Charlie im his daughter and he acts as if he don't know me nor Alexander" my heart ached as I thought of my father who use to always share news with me always being around when I needed him and now both him and my mom are in an hospital bed their condition so bad the doctor's won't even let me to see them

" I ... I ... I'm sorry you feel that way Bri " she looked up wiping her tears

" I'm supposed to be comforting you but here we are you comforting me " I smiled as I kissed her forehead

" Your my best friend , like my sister I never had I'll do anything for you okay ?" She smiled nodding

" Thank you Charlie , Alexander is a bit helpless when it comes to comforting " I smiled as I looked at him who smiled back at me his eyes twinkling

" I'll disagree with that his proven himself worthy to me " I smiled warmly at him trying to remove Mr Barker from my thoughts

" Omg don't tell me you guys are ?... Ahhhh I'm gonna die " talk about Bipolar

I laughed as I got up and walked to Alexander taking a seat in an armchair next to his as his hand reached for mine lacing our fingers together

" I want a niece named after me okay she can be Briana Junior " I laughed at the same time Alexander chuckled

We both looked at each other smiling ear to ear

" Well then I guess we owe dads I mean ... Our future stepmother a proper welcome " Briana said

Causing Alexander to sigh as he stood up pulling me up with our laced fingers

" I guess we do " he replied before wrapping a hand around my waist his hands warm and big comforting me

We walked to Mr Barker's room where we assumed he and his model fiance would be I mean I don't blame him for getting engaged to her she has the whole look you know ?... As for me well I'm only hurt I thought he was attracted to me and honestly I did have a teensy crush on him whilst liking Alexander I know it's wrong but my pleasure calls Mr Barker whislt my heart calls Alexander two different men yet so similar

Briana knocked on the door as Alexander's grip on me tighten pressing me to his side

" Come on in !" Mr Barker yelled god that voice

Alexander opened the door with one hand whislt the other remained on my waist we walked in to Mr Barker and Alia seated on a couch him wearing only a trackpants his  chest exposed his eyes immediately darted to Alexander's hand on my waist as he pulled himself away from Alia

I smirked knowing I could heat this up ... I know you must hate me by now but , but , but , but what would you do having a super model son attracted to you while having his sexy hot CEO father drooling over you ...? Hmmm I see , exactly so shush and listen to my story okay love ya

" Uh Briana what is it ?" He asked forcefully taking his gaze from Alexander and i to Briana

" Look dad I'm sorry ... " She turned to Alia

" I'm sorry for how I behaved I won't do it again and Miss Alia I'm really happy for you and my father " Alia smiled walking over to Briana and hugging her

Alexander chuckled which vibrated throughout my body

Mr Barker's gaze remained on me clenching his jaw

Alexander seemed to notice " is something the matter dad ?"

" Huh no I'm just ... It's nothing" Alexander nodded as he pulled me closer I then wrapped my arm around his waist

" So then Tommorow I'm here for my last day and I think we should all go out" Alia said looking at all of us I mean I wasn't part of this family although I may have did unholy things with Mr Barker and may have approved of a relationship with Alexander who happens to be his son so ... Yeah okay

" Yes Charlie me and you miss Alia could go to-" Alexander cut of Briana

" Actually me and Charlie prefer going somewhere else more private ..." He turned to look at me I smiled as he leaned over and kissed me on the lips I felt the anger from Mr Barker as his knuckles turned white his jaw clenched

" Oh you two are together ?" Alia asked

"Y-" Mr Barker cut of Alexander off

" No !" He yelled staring daggers at me and Alexander
