"ANNA!!"

Xander woke up screaming the name of his deceased wife much to Meng Xi's hearing. His forehead were already beaded with sweats. He could here his own heart beat.

Meng Xi ran inside her master's room, she thought he might needed help with h screaming that way or possibly it might be a nightmare.

"Master Li, I heard your scream." Meng Xi eyes gazed on her master's bare chest as she giggled.

Xander was displeased on seeing his maidservant. This woman was born to annoy him. He should probably fire her but she was doing her job so well and had been with him ever since he came to the city and was hired by Master Wang Shu.

"It's weekends and what are you doing here?" He frowned slightly.

"I'm so sorry to offend you Master Li but your food is ready and I'll take my leave now." She turned toward the door.

"You better leave." He said almost in a whisper as Meng Xi left his room.

Xander thoughts then drifted off while the voice of Anna Lu kept playing in his mind.

"Then come with me to the afterlife! We can live like the way we used to three decades ago."

He couldn't help but repeatedly thought about that statement. He could still feel her cold aura. He really missed his wife.

Alexander came down from the bed. He already told Li Hun to cancel all his appointments for the weekend so he was work free.

While he was having a cold bath, the statement of Anna repeated in his mind.

"I need to find the reincarnated Anna. But how can I possibly do that?" Alexander frowned while doubting his self.

After having a quick shower, he went downstairs only to find his pit bull running to meet him.

"Ruff Ruff!" The pit bull brought out his long tongue and dance around before it could sit. Xander tapped the dog's head and headed for the kitchen.

"Meng Xi" He called out before he could remember he had already sent her away. He was gradually loosing his mind, maybe. He ate the breakfast that Meng Xi already served and so as his dog.

When he finished eating, he took his dog out for a stroll, hoping to find the reincarnated Anna.

The light of dawn seeped into Anna and Ping's room. Anna was the first to wake up . She rubbed her bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky.

The first rays of sunlight lit up their room. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene. The just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activity.

Anna yawned lazily, she had never slept peacefully like the way she had just slept for the past three days. Either she was dreaming about a mysterious woman that looked exactly like her or about the bloody letter.

She won't be going to work on weekends. So she'll be spending her time in the kitchen trying out the new dishes she learnt from a cooking program.

Anna had a quick shower and strode to the kitchen. She was going to surprise Ping Ming with an appetizing breakfast. Ping Ming on the other hand had been sleep talking, always mentioning the name of her fiance; Hao Yi.

"Hummm...What I'm I going to prepare for breakfast?" Anna asked herself using her hand to rub her temple.

Noodles was the only option that came across her mind. He brought out the ingredients and other items that she would use to prepare the dish.

This time she wasn't going to cook a mere noodles but she was to spice it up with enough flavor and spices.

She chopped the green vegetables into equal sizes as well as the green beans. The corn, peas and everything that she needed to make the dish a success was all ready.

Ping Ming was woken up my the delicious aroma. She found Anna's bed vacant and knew immediately that Anna was responsible for the aroma. Ping Ming had to other choice but to perceive the aroma to know where it was coming from and she ended up in the kitchen.

"Morning sleepy head." Anna smiled at Ping Ming.

" Morning to you baby girl. What a surprise!" Ping Ming mouth was already watery. She couldn't wait to devour the delicious dish that Anna was preparing.

" Oh Ping... Morning breath." Anna teased.

" I'll be back." Feeling a little bit embarrassed, Ping Ming also had a quick shower,brushed her teeth and wore her summer dress.

She came back to the kitchen and found Anna already eating at their small dinning. Ping Ming sat on her chair and opened her own share of the food that was served on her side of the table.

"Mine, mine, mine, what do we have here?" Anna could tell that Ping Ming was pleased with what she saw and giggled.

"It's different from other the noodles right?" Anna raised her right brow expecting an answer from Ping but the lady was already done with her food, she looked up to Anna with her mouth full.

"It's so delicious Anna. How did you come up with this recipe?" Ping Ming then swallowed the food in her mouth.

" One of the few recipes I learnt. There'll be more for you to eat since we don't go to work on weekends. I'll use today to try out the remaining recipes." Anna grinned.

" I'm so fortunate to have a great cook like you." Ping Ming smiled broadly at her, standing up from her seat to give Anna a warm hug.

"You know we still have to visit Madam Pei Wei. We haven't visited her for weeks now." Anna suggested.

" We're running out of bread already." Ping Ming complained. Anna gave her a slight but painful pinch in her arm. "Ouch! What's that for?"

"For being such a glutton." Anna scolded.

"Too bad I can't get to taste all your delicious dishes." Ping Ming's face settled with a frown.

"What's wrong Ping?" Anna couldn't help but fell the same way.

"I've finally reconciled with Hao Yi so I'll be staying with him once again." Ping Ming couldn't do anything but to feel bad. Anna was like a blood sister to her.

"You should be happy about it." Anna tried to suppress her sadness. She was not happy that Ping Ming would be leaving her soon.

Both of them enveloped themselves in a hug sobbing softly as they could not let go of each other.

"You can get to live with me. Hao Yi residence is big enough to contain the two of us." Ping Ming implied.

" I'll just stay here but we can get to visit each other right?" Anna tried to force a smile.

" As often as we could alright. Now let's enjoy our remaining days together. No sad faces....Hahaha" Ping Ming laughed.

" Let's go see Madam Pei Wei...You want bread right?" Anna asked while Ping Ming nodded. " Let's hurry".

The both ladies went out of their house. The streets were so busy that they didn't notice the pair of eyes that were following them.
