Chapter 31 - Shushu's Date

Three days after the fight between the Humanoid Shuuki and 7th and 6th unit broke out. Everything went normal where Yuuki provided a 3D model of the Eight thunder gods that better help them. Kyouka made her report while Himari continued training with Yuuki joined by Shushu teaching her methods on how to better herself.

If he was being honest Shushu was a horrible fighter and only thought that he should be his enemy then she would win. She taught her to block, parry and redirect her attack. He also gave her ways on how to use her small form to her advantages.

He asked about her ability suggesting touching objects and resizing them rather than just herself along with the density of her own body and things she touched, making look at him weirdly before explaining to her the fundamentals of weight, size and density.

She was baffled at what her power could possibly do with Yuuki further explaining on his research of blessing that it could have concrete principles and even law manifested into peaches but she didn't understand and simply accepted it.

On the other hand, Himari who was with them asked him about what he found and if he had shared it with the Onmyou Agency but Yuuki shook his head. He explained to her that he doesn't trust them and Himari tried to refute but Yuuki shut her down saying it best to be careful.

She was troubled by this but trusted him enough knowing Yuuki had his reasons considering he was an intelligent person. Yuuki proceeded to give her pointers with her ability but unless she faced his family to overcome her weakness then it was impossible for her to breakthrough even with Yuuki's help.

For the next three days, Yuuki would train with either Himari, Shushu, Kyouka or all three via clones with original supervision. Once they were done, Shushu or Himari would take the opportunity to get more intimate with him and flirt in their own way.

Himari has a hard time adjusting and often fails in flirting while Shushu doesn't skip a beat when flirting with Yuuki but often gets the receiving end and gets flustered.

At the present time, Yuuki was beside Shushu as they had their first date together as he wore a dark blue overcoat with all inner shirt and pants while he glanced at the clinging young woman beside him wearing a beautiful outfit that perfectly captured her personality.

"Hmph? Is there something bothering you?"

Shushu asked to find him taking quick glances while Yuuki scratched his cheek and said.

"Not really, I just thought you look more radiant than normal."

Yuuki typically controls his emotions and keeps what he feels to himself but he decides once in a while he should be honest and let loose. They weren't the only ones falling in love but he was the same and started to genuinely affectionate and deeply cared for them.

Who would have thought that a ruthless fighter would begin to show honest feelings toward people. He never felt this before and wondered if he is still Daniel or is he now Yuuki as the two are completely different yet the same person.

Regardless, the current him was more human and better than his previous self who was far too selfish and distant. His life in this new world gave him new appreciation and values, especially lessons from his parents.

"Thank you, this is our first date and we didn't want to ruin it. Maybe I can pick clothes for you."

"That would be great, I normally wear what I like."

Yuuki normally wear what is his most comfortable and Shushu look at his appearance giving approved nod.

"You have great taste but your hair makes you look like a hobo. We should head to a barber to fix it."

"If you say so."

The two continued where they went to the Cafe ordering a few meals with Shushu having an Espresso and Yuuki coffee. There weren't a lot of people and it was perfect to chat about certain topics. 

"Now then, we finally got the chance to talk and you promise you'll answer my question." (Shushu)

"Go on, I'll answer them as honestly as I can."(Yuuki)

"Alright, how many women will you have?"(Shushu)

"Not sure, I'm not a psychic. But I promise you that I'll always consult all of you to get approval and get to know the said person."(Yuuki)

"Alright, I trust you, does it include Kyouka-san?"(Shushu)

Yuuki took a sip of his cup tasting its bitterness contemplating if he should involve her this early and thought that it was not yet the time for her to learn the truth but at least deserve to know a few things about him.

"You've asked about the 2nd woman, haven't you?."(Yuuki)

"Wait, it's Kyouka-san? How?"(Shushu)

"The truth is that….I am Kuro Oni."(Yuuki)

Shushu looked at him in disbelief thinking if he was joking but his face didn't have any intention.

"Wow, wait….I heard the first report was during… does that mean."

"Yes, I was 8 when I saved her and lied about being chased down since it was more believable. Not to mention, I don't advertise it to strangers but now that we got to know each other, I trust that you keep the secret until I find the right time to tell the truth."

Shushu nodded at his words still shocked that he was the infamous Kuro Oni that had said killed countless Shuuki lessening the death of the Anti-demon corp from dying. He was a living legend despite news of him in a bad light since his taking a job that was supposed to be done by the Corp.

"Then why is she 2nd when you barely met her?"(Shushu)

She found it unfair that she couldn't get the second spot while Yuuki crossed his arms.

"I liked her the moment I met her and now that she has gotten stronger made it more apparent. Regardless, I don't intend to tell her about who I am since her feelings are quite complicated at the moment and I'm trying to make fall for me and not my alter ego."(Yuuki)

His reasoning is simple and that is her feeling was mostly gratitude and a sense of debt that needed to be repaid rather than true feelings. Unlike Himari and Shushu, her relationship with Yuuki is a complicated one.

"Hmph, alright, i can't help you with how to handle it but I support you regardless."(Shushu)

"Thank you, Shushu-chan, you're the best."

Yuuki smiled, which made her smile back and continued.

"Then what about Nei—"

"No, she's like a younger sister than I ever had and won't do anything to ruin it. Maybe if she grows up but no, I'm not a lolicon."

He growled at this annoyed that she would suggest it while Shushu giggled seeing him flustered for the first time in a long time.

"I know, I was just teasing you. I'm glad you can get flustered and worried that you were a stoic type."( Shushu)

"Well, I don't normally act this way and feel safe when I'm around you girls."(Yuuki)

Yuuki wryly smiled cringing that he was acting rather emotional but Shushu felt her heart skip a beat from the way he was acting and started to realize that despite everything he was still human, even though he was technically not, and can be vulnerable.

"How cute, I have never seen you like this before. That aside, how can an 8 year old with no blessing be able to fight that many shuuki?"(Shushu)

"That's certainly an interesting question….the truth is, I am not completely human and born with different genetics. My parents are still my parents but a mutation occurred in my body that gave me unparalleled intellect and Strength."

"Woah, really?"(Shushu)

"That's right, though, I'm quite an impulsive child and wanted to test how far I'll go. That's when I went to a Mato disaster and the rest is history." (Yuuki)

She nodded as they changed topics, asking a few funny moments and sharing things about himself until eventually they finished their coffee and went to the barber shop where Yuuki got a new haircut that he felt was rather clean and made him less like an emo anime guy.



"So, what do you think, Shushu-chan….Uhmm, Shushu-chan you're bleeding."

Yuuki wryly smiled upon seeing Shushu nosebleed that turned into a blush as she was mesmerized by his new look that perfectly blended with his outfit.

"A-Ah, sorry, it's just that I can't believe how a simple haircut could change an entire appearance. From now on you'll keep this style."

"If you say so."

Once they paid the barber, Shushu immediately clung to him where people were staring at the two feeling incredibly jealous where men envied Yuuki to have a gorgeous date while woman envied Shushu to have a handsome man as her date.

Shushu gave a smug smile as if saying "This is my man and his mine not yours." And on the other hand, Yuuki shrugged it off but glared at those who were leering over her.

'I went to mato for some excitement but who knew my heart would race this much around him.'

She thought to herself as the two continued their date picking him some clothes and where Shushu wanted to pay for it since she thought Yuuki can't afford it.

"No need, I haven't mentioned it but actually I owned the [ Star Nova Industry ] meaning money isn't an Issue for me."

Shushu looked at dumbstruck wanting to say something but her brain was so shocked that it took a few seconds for her to recover and said.

"What!!?? Doesn't that mean you're one of the richest people in the world!? How!? When!?"(Shushu)

"I started it when I was 4 by investing and helping research then eventually it grew into something I didn't expect."(Yuuki)

She didn't expect that she had just hit the jackpot of a rich, smart and strong man capable of doing the impossible. Though, Shushu doesn't plan on relying on him but does make her feel unworthy to be with him considering her family only had small business.

"Wait…does that mean you're my parents boss?"

"Oh? Well, my parents are also working for my company but they don't know about it and I don't think they would like taking advantage of my position."

"UmU, I also feel the same. But it still shocking to suddenly found my boyfriend is rich young maste—"

"Please don't use that term cause it makes me sound like an entitled brat."

"Fufufuhaha I'm started to find more of your weakness."

Shushu laughed seeing Yuuki flustered when he was called a young master. He had read too much Xianxia to know where it leads into and preferred young nobles if possible like Master Li Qiye.

"So I'm your boyfriend huh? Are you sure about that?"

"Yeah! Though, it makes me anxious knowing you're out of my league."

Shushu's eyes went wide when she didn't expect to speak her thoughts out loud and saw Yuuki pulled her closer and said.

"Stop doubting yourself, it's unlike you. And I'm happy that you are willing to accept me even though I'm a scumbag."

"...at least you know."

Shushu giggled before pulling Yuuki for a kiss and eventually they continued their date and took photos of themselves until before long they returned to their base where Nei was the first to greet them.

"Welcome back, Yuuki-san, Shushu-chan. Oh, you look amazing, Yuuki-san."(Nei)

"Thank you, Nei-chan. Where's the others?"(Yuuki)

"Himari-chan in the bathhouse and Kyouka-san in her room studying."(Nei)

"Alright, guess I'll start dinner then."

The two of them head upstairs to their room where Shushu gives him a passionate kiss and soon pulls back.

"Thank you for today, it was amazing but I expect you would do the same with Himari-chan."

"I know, I wouldn't have harem if I didn't intend to make you happy."

She smiled hearing this before pushing him telling Yuuki to start cooking, making a light chuckle then went to his troom to change into a tank top and shorts where he met Himari wearing a towel and still wet hair as she was stunned the moment she laid eyes on him.

"Yo…..what the, does my face really look that good?"

Himari nosebleeds looking at him because he looks exactly the type of man she likes and blushing incredibly hard that she tries to avoid him and runs straight into her room to get dressed. Yuuki let her be for now and continued head down meeting Kyouka as she was heading downstairs.

"Kyouka-san!"

"Oh You're bac—"

Before she could finish her sentences was astonished looking at Yuuki and felt her heart pounding non stop.

"Not you too, does my hairstyle really change everything?"

"Ah, sorry, I got distracted. Y-You look great with your new hairstyle. Did Shushu-chan pick that?"

Kyouka regained clarity and began to distract herself trying to control her emotion and Yuuki could only smile smugly all throughout as He went to the kitchen joined by Nei while Kyouka sat at the dinner table and eventually everyone sat on the dinner table. Once everything was done, Yuuki went to bed since the next day would be his date Himari.
