MORTAL GODS: Enouka

A prisoner out for revenge, a power-hungry redhead, a fallen god, and a little princess with superpowers and an impossible quest, go all out in the fight to acquire the power capable of destroying the multiverse. Whether it is to save a kingdom, to get revenge, for world domination, or merely to fall in love with it, none of them can do without this power... so they bring Carnage! This is a tale of revenge, betrayal, love and ambition. "All is fair in Love and War" Throw Powers into the mix and it is Carnage! ___ EXCERPT___ Gorak! 'Oh sh*t!', her eyes go wide. 'What is he doing here? He escaped?' Stunned by her naked beauty, the attacking Gorak stops, staring. She looks like a goddess! Lush pink skin glowing under the sunlight. Those heavenly mounds on her chest with mouth-watering nipples. Well-framed body, with a beautiful, soft ass that vibrates gently as she moves. How could anyone look this gorgeous?! Worse off, she was dripping wet. He wanted to lick her dry! Seeing that he is just standing there, Dela seizes her chance to run. She hurls her sword at him, and he dodges, but then she begins to wade through the water to escape through a tunnel deep within. He wouldn't let her go. Reaching into the water, he pulls her out and slams her against the rocky wall, holding her in place. What was he thinking? She betrayed him so cruelly 2,000 years ago, and helped the enemy take him down! He came here to get his revenge, but what was he doing now? Drooling over her? How stupid. "Mnh... let me go!" she struggled to break free. "I loved you. Took good care of you. But what did you do? You betrayed me the second you got the chance! And what for? A cheap chance at Power?!" He yelled the last sentence in her face. She whimpered, shutting her eyes, her lips quivering. Those lips... "I'm not afraid of you!", she responded in defiance She would fight to the death. She balled her fists, making them into flaming fists. She was strong, but she was still just a Guardian. He was a god. This fight would last only a second. "Still so feisty. Your newfound powers cannot save you." He held Dela in place, keeping both her hands above her head with one hand, pressing down the rest of her body with his own body against the rocky wall. As she struggled to break free, her soft body rubbed against his hard one. It was distorting his thoughts "Hold still!", he commanded. Shocked, she stopped moving. A cold sweat broke out on her forehead as she realised what he meant. He took his sword to her throat. It lightly touched her skin and left a small cut. Some blood trickled down. "Say your prayers." She shut her eyes again, quivering, waiting for her death. It was finally the time to kill her. He had planned his revenge through the last 2,013 years of his life. How he would enjoy the fear on her face in her last moments, right before he slit her throat, but... Why couldn't he do it? What was stopping him? Gorak had never hesitated to kill anyone in his life before. He was genuinely confused as to why he just couldn't do it. "She betrayed you, remember? Do it, fool! Just do it.", he mumbled under his breath. Those lips... He gulped hard. He wanted to kiss them again! He lowered his sword and pressed down upon their softness, hungrily eating them out in a sweet french kiss. Deepening further, he dropped his sword, freeing his right hand to arc Dela's head, holding it in place so that his tongue reaches into the deepest depths of her soul, swallowing her whole. Wide-eyed, Dela is shocked by the kiss. It ushers in a flood of memories. 2,013year old memories. She embraces him, pushing herself up against him. Her hands are free but what is she doing? Making out with her killer!? ........ #r18 *Book cover credit: ArtStation*

My Powers Came Back! 2

*BOOM!!*

The entire "Hold" shook vigorously, suffering from what seemed to be an immense earthquake. They had been hit by a massive heatwave and ultraviolet radiation; the product of a great explosion.

The Hold tilted, turning sideways and destabilizing everyone; the prisoner, his tormentor, and all of his tormentor's minions, and forcing them all to fall in one direction.

In that brief moment when everyone was thrown aside, Gorak noticed the lights on his power-limiters flinch for a millisecond and he felt his powers surging back into his body like he was conducting electricity.

His powers were coming back!

...

But before he could even receive up to 20% of his powers restored, the power-limiters stabilized, sucking him dry of his powers once again, and the tremors stopped.

He couldn't believe it.

'My powers came back?' startled, he looked down at the power-limiters on his wrists.

'All but for less than a second, but, seems so...

This means there's hope! I can get out!'

His eyes glistened with glee.

'If it's happened once, it will happen again, and when it does, I'll be ready.', he determined within himself.

"Aw... ah... ohw"

The grunts of prison guards getting off their butts and nursing their now swelling bumps obtained from the accident crawled through his ears and he immediately realised, everyone had been distracted, and only he had noticed his powers return for a moment.

He would not be stupid enough to give anything away.

He would get out. He would show them all! But for now, he had to wait it out.

...

"Get up!"

Chalding was irritated to see the prisoner still crouched and lying on his side against the bars within his cage when everyone else was already up. He had to be up to no good.

"Huh..." Gorak let out a little chuckle and raised himself. Then he gave Chalding a deathly stare, a smirk plastered on his face all the while.

Looking back at him now, Chalding felt something was off. Gorak was giving him a darker, much more hateful stare, and a new fire burned in his eyes. Chalding was immediately uncomfortable.

Pretending to be unfazed, he responded, still maintaining his confident smile.

"Good."

He turned around in one swift movement and walked off. As he did, his smile became a dark scowl.

Gorak had a renewed confidence. He was definitely up to something, and Chalding hated not knowing what. They had to prepare for whatever.

"Phillipe. Tighten security on all four inner gates. Set our location to change once every two days. And cancel my vacation!

Gorak will attempt another escape soon. We cannot let him succeed.

The fate of all existence depends on it."

"Yes sir".

"Also, find out what hit us. Whatever it was was strong enough to shake the very foundations and tilt the entire facility.

Fortify the grounds. Increase external air pressure to 90%. Whatever hit us would hit again. We best be prepared." Chalding continued to roll out orders.

Gorak watched Chalding walk off slightly frustrated.

'Just a smirk had thrown him off... Looks like the guy is pretty intelligent', he chuckled at his own thoughts, enjoying the fact that he had intimidated Chalding for a moment.

'There is no way he can guess that the power-limiters were affected. He also can't guess the day I make my big escape because I myself cannot know.

This is perfect. I just have to wait it out.

This time, I will succeed!', he smiled a dark smile.

_____

___

It was a wonder. What was so strong it could give off electromagnetic waves strong enough to shake the very foundations of The Hold?

There was only one thing in existence powerful enough to do that... a giant star about to explode!

...

***Far far away, even farther away in Space than The Hold***

*Whoosh!... Whoosh!...*

A massive star (a red hypergiant) radiates fire and burning heat in waves of colourful, dangerous flames, attempting to burn up everything that exists.

Over 10 billion times larger than UY Scuti, the biggest star known to mankind, and a billion times hotter than the sun, no one knows exactly how long this star has existed, but it is the oldest entity in existence, known to have been created from before the creation of the first Keeper/god.

Burning out the last bit of the hydrogen in its core, it gives forth the last few and strongest of its outbursts; the last of its life, in powerful, explosive waves of flames, like the scream of the attacked in the dead of the night, that comes before death.

Guttural, vigorous, energetic, after which, this being will reach its end... Death. The fate of all living things that exist.

In this world, energy was not lost but transferred, and this old star, acknowledging that it had reached its death, was looking for an Heir.

A Host. To which it would transfer all of its dormant power. The host would be the very embodiment of the most powerful existence, holding great power; greater than the most powerful Keepers!

It would be the greatest energy source that ever existed, with power capable of destroying the Multiverse, the realms, and even Keepers.

Any who could locate such power and possess it for himself would be truly invincible; the greatest being in existence, much inferior to the Creator of course, but greater than the most powerful Keeper.

It certainly was a power to covet.

Of what form would this Host be?

No one knew yet because the old star was still searching for her Heir.

All the Keepers knew was that this star was one of the Creator's magnificent weapons created, and that she was soon to die in an incredible explosion.

Occasionally, she gave out a terrible outburst, reaching farther across the Universe than the last, to find this Heir before her death.

What hit the Hold was the most recent of her outbursts. And she is still yet to find her Host. So she is gearing up for another terrible outburst. The very last one before her death.

Called ENOUKA, a name given her by the gods, the troubles of this star were not unknown to them. She was dormant, yet her power was so great, it could not be contained even by her massive size. So it spilled more and more as she aged.

Over the past few years, she emanated intense atmospheric pressure that pulled in entire galaxies; the three closest to her, which she consumed in flames causing massive explosions.

Her successive outbursts, extremely powerful stellar winds and ultraviolet radiation had only made her grow more and more dangerous with each passing day, being the single cause of several Cosmic natural disasters.

The Keepers had found themselves relocating the entire inhabitants of planets to save them from her destruction, and the worst was still yet to come. The Enouka was going to explode in a Supernova.

Imagine the explosion of a star as big as The Void. That would be Carnage.

The End.

An Apocalypse.
