The Void

"Hey, Ice Glacier?" Crimson asked Eira.

"What Crimson?" Eira responded, clearly annoyed.

"Where do you think the great Lightning dragon is taking us?" Crimson glared ahead to Raiden.

"I don't know, but all I know is that Raiden always has his reasons. Also it isn't "Ice Glacier" it's Eira," She snatched.

"What ever you say Snow Flake," Crimson smirked and giggled, as he walked ahead.

"It's Eira!" Eira yelled.

Crimson had never been a fan of Raiden. The rest of the group thought of him as the leader. Everyone but Crimson. See no one knew what happened between them, all they knew was that they despised each other. Raiden kept leading the group to a small house, where they entered. They found that in the middle of the house was a wooden ladder that went down. The house had nothing inside but that ladder. The roof was torn up, and the floors had holes that you could fall down in at any second. The walls had holes like craters, that had vines and flowers growing in from the outside. Raiden went down the ladder first, and soon everyone followed. When going down the ladder, Auryn could have sworn that the ladder felt like it was about to snap, but they all reached the bottom. Where they met themselves in a giant cave, although they was something off about it. The walls and roof of the cave were covered with a substance that of black goo.

"What the hell is that?" Arjax angrily announced.

"It's a ancient corrupt deity, called "The Void," Raiden calmly answered with his arms crossed.

"Why has it come now?" Auryn asked gently, while the glow of her power, flowed out of her body. Creating a light source, underneath her feet.

"I have no idea, but for now we need to find a way to stop it from spreading any further then how far it's already gone," Raiden responded, with his eyes shut.

As Raiden spoke, Delta saw the substance creep, slightly towards them, and start to raise. As the rest of the dragons turned their attention to the raising void, Raiden eyes were still oblivious to what was happening. Delta leaped towards Raiden, pushing him to the ground and out of the way, from the falling void hand. The hand had just missed the two dragons, before it would have more of its' substance build on itself, causing it to become larger. It launched itself towards Delta and Raiden, but right before it would be able to crush them, a large, dragon, made of pure shadow appeared, using its body as a shield. The dragon's wings were torn, and ridged, and parts of its' torso and back was broken. It had sharp horns and spikes, covering its' back, and head. Its' dark, black body, was contrasted by its' glowing white eyes. The dragon's body was slightly transparent, and was larger, when away from where Auryn's light source came form. The dragon snapped its' snout at the void, only angering the entity. It tried to reach for the dragons' torso, but instead the dragon clawed at the creature. Temporarily, injuring the creature, but it healed just as fast as it took it to get the injury. For an unknown reason, the void melted itself away back into its' pit. The shadowed dragon turned to Raiden and Delta, who were getting helped up by Ailya, and Crimson.

Raiden turned and spoke to the dragon. "Thank you, Echo. You can turn back now."

Echo closed his eyes, and slightly tipped his head down in agreement. A deep smoke appeared around the dragon, as Echo could slightly be seen to be growing smaller. When the smoke finally depleted, the human form of Echo, walked towards the others. Everyone had soon come into agreement to leave the cave, and figure out what their next step will be later. They all climbed back up the ladder, and returned to the broken down, cabin. After they all left the house, they all said goodbye to each other, and broke off into different directions to return to their homes, deciding to figure this out another day. Although, two of the dragons went the same way. Ailya and Crimson, went away together, to the Alpine Mountains.

"Hey Crimson?" Ailya asked, softly.

"Yeah, Ailya?" Crimson responded, looking down at Ailya.

Ailya was the smallest dragon out of all of them, with Arjax being the tallest. Even then, compared to Ailya, Crimson was still quite tall.

"Why do you live in the Alpines? You're a fire dragon?" Ailya questioned.

"It's so I can't destroy anything by accident," He looked back up, to see in front of him.

"But what if humans attack you?" she whimpered.

"Have you forgotten? I'm Crimson! The great fire dragon!" he commanded proudly, as he smirked.

Ailya giggled in response, and both of them went on their way. As they started fading out of view from the human village, they had just came from, they both suddenly stopped and checked around them that no one would be able to see them. In front of them was a mountain, the milestone to tell them that they were close to the Alpine Mountains. They looked at each other and nodded to one another. They both stepped back from each other, and suddenly, and dense smoke appeared around the two. The first smoke that surrounded Ailya, was like fog, but you could only see the silhouette of her body. The second smoke, that surrounded Crimson, was dark, and seemed as if a fire had appeared and created smoke. That dense type of dark smoke, only let two, red eyes be able to be seen through itself. Once both types of the smoke vanished, two dragons could be seen. One was pure white, but had no wings or legs. It seemed to be using the wind to hold itself up off the ground. It only had two horns, which were placed on top of its narrow head. On the end of its tail, was a fluffy patch of air, it seemed to be that of a cloud. The second dragon looked of sulfur, and lava. It's jaw was strong, and sharp. It had several horns over it's body, along with being on the sides of its' head. On its' torso and paws, was a second layer of skin, that made a strong, armored outer shell. Although, underneath the armored skin, was carved out rivers in its' skin. Instead of water, there was lava and magma. With all of this, it had large, sharp wings, that could cut down forests, if that is what the dragon wanted. Its' tail was that of razor blades. Spikes and lava poured down the dragons' tail. The flamed eyes from the smoke, glazed the dragons' face. The white dragon turns its' floating body towards the other dragon.

"So, Crimson, ready to go home?" Ailya's other form spoke, almost echoing around.

"Yep, let's go," Crimson responded, his voice booming.

A sudden push of wind appeared, and surrounded Ailya. This wind, made her float higher in the air. All the while, Crimsons' wing raised up and down, at a rapid pace, causing the dragon to rise up and fly. Both dragons rose up higher, and and soon they started flying higher up the mountain. Once the reached the highest peek of the mountain, they could see snowy mountains in the distance, and so with one last push of wind, Ailya and Crimson glide over to the Alpine Mountains. As they started gliding into the central of the mountains, which was nearby where both dragons lived, Crimson saw a small child, crying in the middle of the mountain range.

"Go ahead, Ailya. I'll deal with the human child," Crimson turned his head to Ailya, soon after noticing the child.

Ailya nods in response, and uses a tougher wind to fly her forwards, her tail spinning. Crimson spread out his wings, leading his body down to the human. As he landed behind the crying child, it turned to see him. Their expression was of fear, and sadness. The human child, was a small girl. The girl had dark brown hair, with bright blue eyes, and she was wearing a dark green tunic, with torn up, brown pants. The girl had no shoes, and her face looked dirty. Her skin was pale, and cold.

"Dragon!" the girl cried, pointing at Crimson, but then immediately put her hand back down, at her chest.

The sound of the cry, caused Crimson to peek up, shocked from it happening so suddenly.

"Who are you, child?" Crimson spoke, while putting his head down, to face the young girl.

"I'm Elicia..." she whispered, calming down herself, and voice.

"Well, human Elicia, why are you here?" Crimson commanded, sitting up, and puffing out his wings.

"I didn't know where to go..." she pointed her head down to the ground below her.

"Human Elicia, where are your parents?" he asked, more calmly then before, also pulling back his wings.

"I.... ran away..."
