Turning into a Pokèmon?

Just after Clyde fainted, a series of words stated by a mechanical voice were heard in his head.

"Initiating bond with the host... Initiation complete. Activation Energy check....Energy supply sufficient. Starting the PokèMorph System... System Activated. Welcome! Host no. 0428, Now operating the Morph Branch.... Operation initiated, transfer in 5...4...3...2...1... Transfer complete."

After an influx of words, the world finally turned silent. This continued until a groan was heard, It's just that.... the groan sounded like it came from a small creature. It sounded so feeble, like a weak being needing nutrients.

Clyde woke up with a pain in his head. Trying to open his eyes; at first, his vision was blurry, but after some time, it finally turned clear. What Clyde first saw was trees, a lot of them. 'It seems that I'm still in the forest' He thought. He sat up, but suddenly, he thought that something was off. He just fainted out of a sudden, due to a strong head ache out of knowhere. Remembering those few vague words he heard before he fainted, 'Initiating bind with host....' Clyde was shocked. 'The PokèMorph System!' He finally remembers it. He really forgot about it, since it was inactive for about 9 years.

Realizing what caused his situation, Clyde reobserved his surroundings, the trees looked more dense and they seem to be a bit bigger. 'Bigger....?' Clyde thought. He carefully stared at the trees again and finally concluded that they were bigger. 'Did I run too deep in the forest so the trees are bigger and taller? No that's not possible, I remember that I did run deep, but not deep enough for the trees to be this tall..... Maybe I got smaller? With the start of this question, Clyde finally looked at his body. In the tranquil forest, a loud sound immediately broke out.

"Wuuuuuuuuu~!"

Again, Clyde was shocked. He tried to speak again, but the words that came out were...

"Wuuu~! Wuu wuuu!"

Clyde turned speechless, but he tried to calm himself down; and he.... can't. He looked strange! He got thin white hands and his height only reached about near half a meter! Think about it, if your height was 5ft which is about 1.5 meters then suddenly turned to 0.4 meters! That's a whole meter decrease! What's more, his body is different; the arms where thin and white, while his body looked like a white dress.

Now that he thinks about it, he also have some bangs, but he did not notice it since he also has one. The weird thing is that it was so thick that it looked like a layer; and it was color green! That's when Clyde was stupefied. This body is too familiar! Seeing it in books and in television is different than being directly it! Clyde verified his guess, it took a while to find a puddle, but since it was rainy season, you could find some puddles if you look hard enough.

Looking at his reflection, Clyde saw a humanoid Pokémon with a white body. It has thin arms and legs that widen toward the feet. There is a wispy extension trailing off the back of its feet, creating the overall impression of a nightgown or oversized dress. Most of its face is covered by green hair that resembles a bowl cut, but a pair of pinkish red eyes is sometimes visible. There are two flat, red horns on top of its head: a large one toward the front and a smaller one at the back. It is the Feeling Pokèmon, Ralts!

Clyde was only a bit shocked right now, since he was already prepared for what he saw. Since earlier, seeing his body figure, Clyde already hypothesised a possibility. Remembering the details of the PokèMorph System before, even though it's a bit vague for him, because it was around 9 years ago, he remembered that he will morph into a Pokèmon. But he did not expect it to happen now, without any preparations nor any heads up.

When Clyde was currently confused with his situation, a familiar voice was suddenly heard in his head.

"Hello Clyde! Host no. 0428! Are there any discomforts within your body right now?" the mechanical voice asked.

"It's Morpheus right? I don't feel any discomfort in my body, but in my mind, I do." Clyde sarcastically stated.

"It is not my obligation to feel the mental condition of the host, the aim is only to provide help in order to achieve the goals the system has set for the host." Morpheus calmly replied.

"Nevermind, I won't bicker with a robot. I'm just a bit confused, why did you only speak now, instead of speaking to me just as I woke up?" Clyde curiosly asked.

"First of all, I am an artificial intelligence. Calling me a robot just degrades my entire being. And for your next question, it's because I do not want to waste any effort that you, yourself, could eventually notice." Morpheus rebutted.

Clyde then honestly said. "Okay, sorry. Well you're right, since my first birthday, I should have expected turning into a Pokèmon at some point in my life, huh. It's just that it surprised me very much because it was so out of the blue."

Morpheus then continued explaining. "At the same time of your 10th birthday, the Activation Energy required was met by your body. The system has set the binding to automatically process with the host when the host meets the requirement. So technically, you were born around noon so the system also binded with you around noon."

Clyde then showed a look of understanding. Finally, Clyde asked the most important question.

"What do you want me to do?" He asked.

"Before telling you what to do, I should first explain to you what my features are. After explaining, you would naturally understand my purpose. I'll tell it all so make sure that you completely understand it." Morpheus stated.

"The PokèMorph consists of 9 separate branches. The branches and its function are the following:

> Morph

- A branch of the system wherein all the data of the PokèMorphs of the host are collated.

* The Pokèmon to be morphed is what the system thinks that could help the host.

- It consists of the following features:

° PokèMorph History

¬ A list of the Pokèmon's morphed by the host. Includes the achievements and quests done during the certain period of this Pokèmon.

° Time track

¬ This allows the morphed body of the host to turn back into the time allotted by the system.

¬ This allows the host to return to his body without any time gap due to the morphing.

> Quest

- A branch of the system wherein all the tasks provided by the system is displayed.

- The content of the tasks change every time the host morphs into a new Pokèmon.

- There are 3 main tasks in which the system encourages the host to finish in every PokèMorph.

- It consists of the following features:

° First PokèGoal

¬ The first task provided by the system in each PokèMorph. The system deems it to be "easy" but not necessarily so.

° Second PokèGoal

¬ The second task provided by the system in each PokèMorph. The system thinks it is "average", but it may not be for some.

°Third PokèGoal

¬ The third task provided by the system in each PokèMorph. The system rates it as "difficult" but is impossible for others.

° Bonus PokêGoal

¬ Extra tasks provided by the system when the host meets certain conditions.

° Rewards

¬ Where rewards in each tasks are displayed. Rewards differ from the difficulty of the tasks.

¬ Standard Reward Rate:

¦ First PokèGoal = 1-3 Stars Pokèmon egg

¦ Second PokèGoal = 4-6 Stars Pokèmon Egg

¦ Third PokèGoal = 7-9 Stars Pokèmon Egg

¦ Bonus PokèGoal = Evolutionary Stones

* Type of the reward are confined within the types of the PokèMorphed Pokemon.

* PokèCoins are given based on the degree of completion and time lapse of the PokèGoals.

* Only one Pokèmon egg are given, they only differ on star rating depending on how many PokèGoals were completed.

° Completion Rate Rewards:

¦ F-/F/F+ (6 weeks and 1 day to 7 weeks time lapse) = 1-500 PokèCoins

¦ E-/E/E+ (5 weeks and 1 day to 6 weeks time lapse) = 501-1000 PokèCoins

¦ D-/D/D+ (4 weeks and 1 day to 5 weeks time lapse) = 1001-1500 PokèCoins

¦ C-/C/C+ (3 weeks and 1 day to 4 weeks time lapse) = 1501-2000 PokèCoins

¦ B-/B/B+ (2 weeks and 1 day to 3 weeks time lapse) = 2001-2500 PokèCoins

¦ A-/A/A+ (1 week and 1 day to 2 weeks time lapse) = 2501-3000 PokèCoins

¦ S-/S/S+ (1 day to 1 week time lapse) = 3001-3500 PokèCoins and a chance to get a random auxiliary ability given by the system. The type of the ability is based on the type of the Pokèmon morphed.

- A branch of the system wherein items could be purchased through PokèCoins.

- It consists of the following items:

° PokèFood Ingredients:

¬ Different berries, ores and food that Pokèmons like.

° Pokèmon Moves

¬ All moves of Pokèmons could be found here.

*Buying a move comes with a one time use TM Reader.

° Pokèmon Tools

¬ Different tools and items that the system deems that the host needs.

> Inventory

- A branch of the system wherein the host could store his items. Rewards and items bought from the store are automatically placed in the inventory.

> Data

- A branch of the system wherein all datas and knowledge collated by the host are stored. The system also stores data collected from machineries to this branch. However, data not gained through understanding are locked down until the system deems the host to be worthy.

>Tutorial

- A branch of the system wherein the host could learn. Datas locked out are available here, so that the host could learn and at the same time unlock the data for convenience's sake.

> Map

- A branch of the system wherein the host could view different geographies.

- A 3D representation of the surroundings of the host.

- It expands only based on the geographical knowledge collated by the host and geography seen by his own eyes.

- It could detect living things and non living things through waves of different frequencies.

> Scan

- A branch of the system wherein it could detect a Pokèmon's data.

- It detects the following:

° Pokèmon name

¬ Name or Nickname (Given by a trainer) of a Pokèmon.

° Talent

¬ Talent refers to a Pokèmon's manipulation of a certain origin energy and a Pokèmon's endurance and usage of the said energy. The strength and softness of a move depends on the talent of a Pokèmon. This is also how fast a Pokèmon could learn different moves and tactics.

¬ A Pokèmon enhances itself by different types of Origin Energy that his body could absorb. Talent is based on how well they use that certain energy and how they could handle it.

¬ Talent is based on the origin talent and is rated from:

° Potential

¬ Potential is the chance of upgrading to a higher strength boundary. It is differentiated into 5 stages which are:

* The progression of a boundary in level decreases the potential, in turn, it limits the future strength that a Pokèmon could achieve.

* Evolution could either decrease or increase the potential depending on the scenario.

° Combat Sensitivity

¬ This determines the combat ability of a Pokèmon.

¬ How well a Pokèmon could respond to an attack and how accurate and useful every attack it made is based on the Combat Sensitivity.

¬ It is Innate for some Pokèmon's, however, it is often cultivated by the trainer.

¬ It is differentiated into three stages:

¦ Strong

° Level

¬ Levels divide the standard strength of a pokemon.

- Different boundaries of the levels are:

¦ Level 1-10 = Infant

¦ Level 11-20 = Newbie

¦ Level 21-40 = Adept

¦ Level 61-80 = Elite

¦ Level 81-90 = Powerhouse

° Gender

¬ Distincts between a male and a female.

° Type

¬ Elemental affinity of the Pokèmon to origin energy.

° Ability

¬ A trait of a Pokèmon that usually serves as a distinction within a species.

¬ Common abilities within a species but sometimes a Pokèmon shows a hidden ability.

° Held Item

¬ Items that provides an auxillary function if held by a Pokèmon.

° Skills

¬ Moves that a Pokèmon knows and have learned.

> Status

- A branch of the system wherein it lists the status of the host.

- It detects the following:

° Name

¬ Name of the host.

° Age

¬ Age of the host mentally and physically.

° Gender

¬ Distincts between a male and a female.

° Profession

¬ List of the professions of the host.

° Pokèmons owned

¬ A list of names of the Pokèmon owned by the host.

° PokèCoins owned

¬ Counts the current PokèCoins the host currently have.

"These are all the functions of the system. Please remember them carefully since I won't teach it to you again." Morpheus stated.

"Sure thing! But it's really a lot. I feel overwhelmed." Clyde replied.

"You should feel overwhelmed. See how lucky you are to have the system's assistance. By just the existence of the system puts you miles ahead from your peers."

"Yeah, I think so... Thanks I guess? Anyways, since I know the system's function already, could I use them now?"

"Sure, what features of the system would you like to use?"

After a while, Clyde then found that he did know how to use them, but not proficiently. It's like ingrained knowledge as a Pokèmon grow older. 'Another good research point of view.' He thought.

"Now that I know my data, it seems like I need to know my quests already. Morpheus, could you show me?" Clyde asked.

"Initiating branch.... Data displayed."
