It's been a week since I came from Alex's home. This time seems more. Organizing wedding things takes a lot of my time. Luckily, I was enough time to send them invitations. I don't have a wedding dress and cake yet, but I have decided the place, the decorations, and flowers already. I'm sure Felipe won't like anything, but we won't be there to really get married. I didn't see Jason this week and I should talk to him too. It's too much. I also have to study because life doesn't stop because a man's daughter gets married. That reminds me. My father, William who isn't my father is very ill. I heard from James who talked to me once when he saw me in the hallway. Specifically, I was shocked and had a hard time, but I continued my list of endless things to do.
"Are you Ok?" Alex asked three days later. We didn't meet the previous week because of the organization.
"Yeah. We need to practice. Come on!" I said. I didn't want to think.
"Amanda!" He said seriously.
"En gard!" I said and I stood in a starting position. He sighed and he picked up his helmet.
"Have you seen your father since you came home?" He asked while we practice. I was a little shaken by that question.
"You are here." I said finally.
"We both know I didn't think of myself." He said kindly.
"You are my father." I mumbled.
"You need to visit him." He said.
"Why? To see I care about him? He never asked me how I am or what I want to do. He decided everything in my life. I have to get married because of his stupid illness. Besides this, I need to learn." I said in a raised voice. I dropped the fake sword and walked out angrily. I bumped to someone.
"I'm sorry!" I said. "Jason." I slapped his shoulder when I realized him.
"Auch!" He said and he looked at me with a painful look.
"Why didn't you call me?" I asked indignantly.
"I wanted to clarify my feelings." He said.
"What…" I started to say but he bent down and kissed me quickly. I leaned away and slapped his face. He touched his face.
"Are you crazy?" I said angrily and walked up the stairs. I went to my room and locked it. I took out the chocolates which I got and started eating because I hadn't even had time to eat them yet. I looked at the picture above my desk that Noel had drawn. Although it was far enough away, I could see well. They are so missing. I'm sure Liz won't come to the wedding after that. I whipped my tears which I didn't know how they could get there, and I rather concentrate my chocolate. This is so delicious. I love Steven and AJ.
"Amanda!" James shouted and he tried to open the door.
"I'm not going to try on clothes." I said with a full mouth.
"Amanda!" He said again.
"I don't care what the cake will look like." I said and I bit another one from the chocolate.
"Open the door please!" I rolled my eyes and I opened it. He laughed. I frowned. "There is something on your mouth." I went to the bathroom and checked myself in the mirror. I wiped my mouth because there was a chocolate on it, I washed my hands and I walked back to him.
"It isn't appropriate to laugh at the princess." I said.
"I'm sorry but you are my niece so I can laugh at you." He smiled. I rolled my eyes.
"You are naughty." I sat down my bed.
"Maybe. Will you allow me to sit down?" I nodded. He pulled out the chair which was under my make-up desk and he sat down in front of me. "How are you?" He asked. I sighed.
"Did you come here to ask this?" I frowned.
"Yeah. Since you have already known who I am I can tell that I was watching you and I see that you aren't well." I looked at the picture on the wall. He looked it too.
"What?" He stood up and went closer to the picture. "Was this drawn by Noel?"
"Yes, he did." I said.
"Amazing!" He said. "And who are they?" He looked at the picture about Steven and AJ which is was on my desk.
"My friends Steven an AJ and they gave me that." I said and pointed the gift bag. He turned with a smile but when he saw me, he became serious.
"Do you miss them right?" He asked and walked to me. I nodded.
"I need to forget them." I said.
"You can visit them." He said with a smile.
"I don't even have time to sit down for a minute not to mention to travel." I sighed.
"You could invite them to the wedding." He said with a smile. "They don't even know you're a princess. Sorry! I forget it." He became serious again. "It sucks! How can you do this whole thing?"
"It's hard." I whispered. He sat next to me and hugged me.
"Are you excited about the wedding?" He asked after he let me go.
"I don't want to do it." I said.
"I know." He said.
"I don't want to marry him. He won't love me." I mumbled.
"What do you mean?" He looked at me curiously.
"It's a secret James. I tell you as a relative. You can't tell anyone." I said.
"He is gay." He said.
"What? How?" I asked.
"I said. I was watching you. Who is like fashion like him it is easy to find out." He said. I looked at him with opened mouth. "I wanted to ask something for a long time." I closed my mouth. "Were you there on the stage too?" I looked at my hands. "Why?" I didn't respond. "Maybe you love her?" He asked.
"None of your business!" I said angrily. "It doesn't matter leave me alone!" I said. I lay down on the bed and pulled the blanket over myself. "Wow! I thought I knew you both." I heard his voice. "I go." He said and closed the door. Thank you, James for reminding me of this. Really. I almost forget it.
Two weeks later the wedding day arrived. Everything was ready. I could say I'm not excited but when I look in the mirror, I have to look out of there. This dress is so beautiful. It's a shame not the right person is out there.
"Hello my bridge." Felipe said.
"Oh my god! Felipe! What are you doing here? You mustn't see me until it will begin." I said indignantly.
"I just came to see your clothes. I don't want you to look bad in front of a lot of people. Although I have to say you're pretty. Did you choose the dress?" I nodded. "Liar! You don't have such a good taste."
"Shut up and leave me alone!" I said angrily.
"You changed. I am proud of you." He said.
"I don't believe you." I said.
"Did something exciting happen while you weren't in the castle?" I blushed.
"How do you know I wasn't here?" I asked.
"As your fiancé it is my duty to know everything about you. So?" He raised his eyebrow.
"I met Alex's kids and I went to the local school." I said briefly.
"Did you survive the school? Wow!" I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want to hear?" I asked nervously.
"I thought you took the opportunity and got together with someone." He said. My face was so red. "I need to go. Bye." He said and start to walk out. "We see you each other in ten minutes." He said finally. I took a deep breath.
"Amanda. Two minutes." Alex came in after a while. "Omg!" He stopped and looked at me with widened eyes. "You are so beautiful." He wiped his tears.
"Don't cry because I will too!" I warned him.
"Sorry! You are my only daughter who is getting married." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere." I said with a smile and hugged him.
"Did they both come?" I asked after I let him go.
"Yeah. Liz and Noel are here." Well, I didn't expect that. My palms started to sweat. "Noel sat on a chair and Liz went to the restroom." I nodded. "Are you ok? Your face is so red. I hope you aren't ill. Drink this water!" He said and give me the glass of water which is on the table. I drank a little and put it back on it.
"One minute." Someone shouted.
"Give me your hand!" I took a deep breath and we walked out.
