Fifth chapter

For the rest of the day, I didn't do anything special just studied and read. I read Romeo and Juliet again. Although I am almost familiar with the text, but I never get bored. I really want to see it in a theater once. However, I didn't even understand why he killed himself. Because he thought his love had killed herself? It's nonsense. They didn't even know each other. Especially that they are fourteen years old. At such a young age they cannot know what love is. Of course, as if I knew. I always had to do what my parents tell me. Pull out yourself, smile, you could have learned more, don't talk with them etc. Surprisingly, my father said or asked nothing about why I talked to Jason at all. The point is, I have no idea what it feels like to love someone for whom you would give your life. I fell asleep with these thoughts.

I woke up rested in the morning. After my morning routine I headed to the kitchen to have breakfast. I walked down the stairs and I stepped into the kitchen where I wasn't alone.

"Amanda! He is Felipe. I would like to ask you to talk with him after breakfast. Until then I will introduce for him the castle." He said seriously. "Follow me Felipe!" The guy looked at me contemptuously and followed him. I just looked at them with raised eyebrows when they walked past me.

I sat down in the chair and just looked at the sandwich and the orange juice. I shook my head in disbelief. They want to he will be my husband. Really? They are not normal. It seems he doesn't like me which is astonishing. It doesn't seem he want to marry me. Then why him? Unbelievable! I need to talk with someone. Someone approached the door. Suddenly she opened it. I've never seen her before. In fact, this isn't a surprising fact, but she was wearing a beige fabric jacket, black pants with black shoes and she held a black leather handbag in her left hand. She has shoulder-length short blonde hair and green eyes.

"Don't you know where Paul is?" She looked into my eyes and then at my hood and she was surprised. I looked down too. On the left side of all my sweaters is sewn the coat of arms of my family, which is worn only by family members. "Excuse me!" Her voice trembled. I sighed. She wanted to go but I shouted after her.

"Wait please!" She turned shyly and looked at the floor. "Go up the stairs turn left and the third door on your right is his office. His name is written on the door."

"Thank you, princess." She said and looked at me.

"What's you name?" I asked.

"Grace." She said.

"My name is Amanda. I thought it was good if you know. You can call me that too if we run into each other, but my family doesn't like it. "She smiled. "Oh, something else. If you accidentally meet a green-eyed guy with dark brown hair who is taller than you could you tell him to come here if he can?"

"Of course." She said happily.

"Thank you." I said with a smile on my face.

I don't think they'll meet. I tried to eat a little. I'm afraid of that conversation. This guy has bad radiation. He doesn't even handsome. As if he has girly features. He's so weird. When ate my meal, I stood up and went out into the hall. Near the stairs is two dark red armchair and a wooden table with newspapers and magazines on it. I sat down on the armchair because I have no idea where Felipe and my father are or where I need to look for them, so I'd rather wait here. Until then I was looking at a fashion magazine.

"Does anyone really wear clothes like these?" I asked with disgust in my voice.

"If you understood fashion, you wouldn't say that." A voice came from my right and I dropped the magazine in frightened. Felipe laughed. "The princess of chaos. Perfect." He said condescendingly.

"Hey! I didn't want you to be here so you can go. There is the door." I pointed the front door.

"I want to go but I can't do it." He sighed. "My father forces me to talk to someone like you." He said disgustedly. He sat down in the other armchair. He took a mirror from his suit pocket and adjusted his hair.

"And they say I am so arrogant." I said grimly. I bent down and picked up the magazine from the floor. There was an elegant dress in the picture. "It's not that bad." I said and showed the picture to him. He looked at me surprisingly.

"She found the only dress that was fashionable for two years ago. Nowadays nobody wears it anymore. The designer went bankrupt. She could barely recover from it." He said.

"How do you know so much about fashion? Is this your hobby?" He snorted.

"Hobby? This is my life. This is what I am studying at university." He said enthusiastically.

"It's weird." I said.

"It's not if you are gay. If that's the case I won't marry you." He said as if we were just talking about the weather.

"Are you gay?" I asked in amazement. "It explains everything." I said.

"Excuse me?" He asked indignantly.

"I mean you don't look and act like a straight people." He shrugged. "By the way, I don't want a wedding either." I said.

"This is not surprising." He said.

"How do you say?" I asked indignantly.

"I heard that when you heard the news you escaped. I had a lot of fun with this." He smiled.

"I'm glad that you're happy." He grinned while he is reading a similar magazine like mine. "By the way, how you want to do it? I asked.

"We will say no." He said without looking at me.

"We mustn't say no, if we will do, we can't rule." He shrugged and turned the page. I opened my mouth.

"Wait a minute!" I slapped my forehead. You don't want to be a king." He put the magazine on the table and looked at me.

"Let's applaud! She isn't so stupid." He said mockingly.

I threw the magazine on the table and stood up angrily. I want to go to my room. I will no longer listen to this arrogant, jerk…

"Amanda?" Jason had just come down the stairs. We stood there in the middle of the stairs.

"Did you see him Jason?" I whispered.

"Who did I see?" He asked in confusion.

"The prince of the hell." I said.

"No one has told me such a beautiful thing yet." Felipe shouted.

"Are you still here?" I said boredly and I turned to him.

"It's not very kind." He said. I grumbled and looked at Jason.

"Don't look at me like that. Paul sent me to tell him what's going on." Jason said.

"So then go and see. I'm not curious about him anymore." I said angrily.

"What happened?" He asked.

"The little princess was offended." Felipe shouted.

"Nobody asked you." I shouted. Jason looked at me questioningly. He didn't understand anything. I took a deep breath and headed for my room. Jason caught my right wrist. "I'll check you later." He looked at me seriously. I shrugged.

I laid on my stomach on the bed in my room. I thought nothing bad was happening today. It started like any other day. This dialogue has exhausted me so much that I don't feel like studying or practicing with Alex. I should do both later. After a while I grabbed the history book from the table and started reading in my revolving chair. I was reading about World War I when someone knocked.

"Come in!" I put the book to the table. The door opened but first no one entered. Jason entered and looked around. He looked toward the two doors and scratched the back of his neck.

"I'm here." He turned quickly.

"Oh!" I laughed when I saw his surprised face. "I thought…whatever." He blushed.

"Sorry to scare you. I learned." I went to the bedroom bench opposite me and sat down to the right side. "Take a seat!" I pointed next to me and he did.

"Pay attention! I talked to him. This Felipe guy isn't as bad as you think." He said.

"You don't believe that either, do you?" I asked in a raised voice.

"He suits you." He said.

"He is gay!" I said with the same emphasis. Didn't he notice anything weird?

"I didn't know that." He said in surprise.

"Don't you know? What were you two talking about?" I asked.

"Sports and some things." He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Hmm." I could have thought. I looked out the window. The sun was shining sparingly. The wind hovered over the foliage of the trees. There were pansies in some places if you winked. No one was out due to the cool weather.

"But wait! If this guy is gay why want to marry you?" He asked.

"That's the point. He won't. He will say no. By this he relinquishes the throne."

"If he will do that you won't be a queen. Right?" I nodded. He clenched his fists.

"If I see him, I'll kill him." He said with a clenched mouth. "He went home about five minutes ago. Damn it!" He ran nervously into his hair with his hands. Something came to my mind and I smiled devilishly. "Do you find it funny?" He shouted at me.

"Do you want to convince him?" I stood up and stood in front of him.

"I don't want the country to be left without a queen because he only thinks of himself." He said.

"Dear Jason! Will you join me on my trip to Mexico?" I asked with a smile.

"Huh?" He looked at me questioningly.

"I got a helicopter to my birthday last year. I've never tried it, but in theory, James can drive it." I said.

"Are you just saying that now? Let's find James!" He said with a wide grin like a small child. He grabbed my forearm and pulled me after him.
