The Rejection
Aaron kept pacing in his room, nervous and agitated. He had to see Edwina, he had to talk to her. What was his fault? Why did she reject him? It made him a bitter person. He still remembered the night she rejected him five years ago. He remembered that he had come back from his studies. And she was indifferent and cold towards him.
He ran to her house and barged in her room. But she was not there. Her parents informed him that she must be with Valenthia at their favourite spot. The clearing that was used for the wolf ceremony. The clearing that got most of the moonlight in all the states. The clearing that was sacred for all the wolves.
The girls kept climbing the trees and would spend their time there. As Edwina was the designated ugly friend of every kid in the clan, she rarely talked to anyone. Her friends were Valenthia, Aaron and Bardolph. Thorin would chase after her like a small pup, but he was too annoying for Edwina and Valenthia.
