The Battle of Amber was over.

It ended as Ash, the level 100 half-demon Savior who was now veritably the strongest individual creature in the world, came in and swept across the city bringing death to its enemies. She ended the fighting within Amber's walls and then went to the portal outside and closed it.

All while Kaori rested on that same table she'd found herself at after she took down the Nightmare that had given her and Ash both so much trouble. She then told the blonde about all of this, as a mild headache banged away against her skull.

"So, it's done?" Kaori asked.

"Yeah," Ash said, sounding as tired as Kaori had ever heard her.

The blonde nodded and then asked:

"Did you heal everyone back up?" As Ash made a slightly confused face, Kaori added, "uh, you know, the other soldiers."

Ash blinked.

"No."
