No turning back

That was really bad. By the look of things, that girl was a pro at throwing knives… everyone moving away from Kane was enough to prove that. That was weird, he had seen that girl fighting using knives before, but she never threw them, so that caught Kane by surprise.

"I can repel her attacks, but unlike her, I will have to spend mana to do so. Breaking steel or iron with my Water Balls isn't possible, at least for the time being. So, I'm really in a bind…"

Kane couldn't afford to die there, not when he was so close to having enough points and reincarnating as another type of monster.
