Chapter 7: Military Camp

Allen boarded the military truck along with 11 other students who graduated from the school a week ago.

They were informed that the training camp assigned for them this year is Tanip city. The name of the training camp is Camp Poyesion.

Tanip city is 2 days away from Kol. They reached the Tanip without any monster attack on the evening of 2nd day.

Tanip city is 15 times bigger than Kol. There are a lot of fantastic and marvellous places that they can visit during their training here.

Allen was looking forward to the training as it will help him to increase his battle power along with his archery and sword fighting talents.

In Poyesion's military camp Allen is separated from the rest as others are to be trained for close combat and he is to be trained for archery. He bid farewell to Kim and walked to his designated barracks.

There were 10 beds in the barracks and 4 of them were already occupied. Allen found a bed and kept his clothes he brought with him inside the trunk which was under his bed. He went and took a shower to clean himself before settling down.

The barracks got filled by dinner time. He saw 3 girls and 7 boys including him in the barracks. No one spoke to others and remained silent.

Since Allen was a shy type, he did not try to initiate a conversation with others. But he will once the others start talking to him.

During dinner, a Sergeant stage person came to the barracks.

"Listen up people. My name is Bones and I will be your trainer for the next 2 months. You will call me Sir. You will be grinded to be the best archers in the country."

Allen and the rest were unable to stand due to the pressure that was generated by the Seargent stage Bones crushing them. Bones provided the military uniform for them.

The Uniform had a half-sleeve shirt, sleeveless leather armour and leather pants. The shirt was dark blue, with leather armour and the pant was black. Allen liked it as it suited his black hair and blue eyes.

They wore the uniform and confirmed that the size was correct for them. Allen had to change his uniform 2 times as he had some muscles since he used to train for close combat also.

It took him 20 minutes to confirm that the uniform is a perfect fit for him. He didn't want the uniform to cause trouble for him during training or a real battle by being smaller or larger than him.

Allen always wakes up early in the orphanage to help the cook in the kitchen. So waking up early is not going to be new to him.

Sergeant Bones informed them to sleep soon so they can start their training tomorrow earlier than the regular time.

They were instructed to sleep well for today as their training will start the next day. The trainees did not sleep as they were admiring their uniforms as they were grade-1 armour. Allen slept early as recommended by Bones.
