Colossals, Titans, and Demonic Beasts rule over a world where no weapon, no bullet, and no missile can pierce their nearly impenetrable hides. Ruthless, cunning, and more brutal than any human, these creatures brought humanity to the edge of extinction. When half the population fell, a harsh truth emerged: only a monster could defeat a monster: ONLY A MONSTER COULD KILL A MONSTER. Humanity became monsters. In this world, one could only become stronger by fusing, merging and splicing their cells with monsters to become Exomorphers! Ezra reincarnated into this world with a cheat system that allowed him to fuse ordinary farm animals into higher grade monsters! [You have fused 100 sheeps, 100 horses, 100 cat-fishes and 100 chicken together!] [Congratulations, you have acquired a Mythical Qilin!] … [You have fused 100 lions, 100 eagles, 50 magma salamanders together!] [Congratulations, you have acquired a Mythical Inferno Griffin!] … [You have fused 100 parrots, 100 diamonds, 100 fireflies, and 50 flamingos together!] [Congratulations, you have acquired a Mythical Crystal Phoenix!] … While others risks their lives and spend their family fortunes to tame legendary beasts, Ezra only fuses farm animals to create mythical beasts! Ezra’s Dad: “W-where are my chickens!?” Ezra: “ A flying mythical beast attacked and ate them all!” Ezra’s Dad: “A thousand of them!?” Ezra: “Uhm. It was very hungry.” (Note: This is not your regular beast taking novel. The beasts are no where near cute nor is there a special cuddly bond between Host and Symbiote!)
Ezra's eyes lit up and he said yes without hesitation.
The effect was immediate. The twenty pigeons were shocked as an invisible power drew them together like magnet and then their bodies began to merge and in the blink of an eye, 20 pigeons were transformed into a singular animal.
[Congratulations, you have acquired a Skyborne Dove!]
[Ezra's heart raced with excitement as he saw the system notification.
"Ding!"
"[Beast-Fusion System Activated.]"
"[Do you wish to fuse 20 Black Pigeons together?]"
"[Fusion success rate: 100%]"
He didn't hesitate for a second and answered, "Yes!"
The transformation was instant. The twenty pigeons flapped in panic as an unseen force drew them together, pulling their forms into a single point like pieces of metal to a magnet. Their bodies began to merge, feathers and wings blending seamlessly until, in a flash, the pigeons transformed into one incredible creature.
"[Congratulations, you have acquired a Skyborne Dove!]"
The Skyborne Dove was more than five times larger than a regular pigeon and almost as big as a Bald-head eagle.
Thankfully the cage was slightly big otherwise it might have interrupted with the fusion process.
The Skyborne Dove was extremely beautiful. It feathered wings were shimmering dark and smooth like jewels and its eyes was particularly pretty.
There was also a small crown on its forehead like that of a male chicken but its crown was pure white and solid like a horn.
Excited, Ezra grabbed the cage with a struggle and headed towards another part of the market.
In this part of the market, they sold all kinds of Symbiotes. There were large cages stacking up against each other with monsters inside of them in every opening of a store.
Ezra was more than surprised when he saw them. The monsters were all exotic. However, Ezra didn't see a single Silver grade monsters in them.
"Maybe because they're too rare."
Ezra shook his head as he knew he didn't have much time left till the competition.
He sighted a more run down store that only sell level one monsters and entered the store.
"Welcome to Monster Store For You. What would you like to buy?" A beautiful female receptionist smiled as she saw Ezra.
Ezra smiled back in returned and placed the cage on the desk. "I'd like to sell this beast."
"Oh, such beautiful creature." It would surely be popular amongst the ladies. However, this Skyborne Dove seem to have a slight defect and is barely a true monster. We will take it for 400 credits."
The lady inspected the dove for a few seconds before she smiled and immediately told Ezra her observation.
Ezra was slightly surprised at her knowledge. She only looked for ten seconds before she knew the beast was defective.
400 credits was even more than he had planned to collect! However, Ezra revealed a frown. "If a true Skyborne cost 1000 Credits then a defective should cost half the price right?"
The reception laughed softly. "We are stores hence we buy at a slightly lesser price than normal market. Otherwise we would only incur losses in our sales."
Ezra thought about it and nodded. Giving her his bank account details she made the transfer and Ezra left the store immediately.
A few minutes later, he arrived at the first of a familiar dilapidated store selling ordinary animals.
The moment he arrived the old man came out and was immediately pissed once he sighted Ezra.
"Oh, it's you."
His old eyes squinted and seemed roll as he saw Ezra.
Ezra smiled. "Did you miss me, old man?"
"Damn brat. Say what you want or scram the hell away from my shop!" The wrinkle on his face jiggled as he spat out.
"You know you shouldn't curse in front of kids right?"
The old man snorted coldly he didn't say anything.
Ezra's smile widened when he saw the old man speechless again. He then turned towards the animals on the sides.
"How much does your chickens cost?"
"5 credits."
"What about pigs?"
"20 Credits."
"Goats?"
"15 Credits."
"Snakes?"
"3 credits."
"Birds?"
"Die! You disrespectful little brat!"
The old man cursed angrily as he pointed his cane at Ezra angrily. However when he saw the black sheep behind Ezra, he stopped.
How could he fight a kid who can't even defend himself. Sighing, he shook his head and slumped on a chair beside him.
"Just tell me what you want, snotty brat."
Ezra was slightly surprised at the old man's surrender. But was even more surprised he actually sensed true death when the old man raised his cane. It was as though he was on the verge of death.
"That aura was even more dominating than Mrs Lorraine!"
Ezra's face changed and he no longer joked around.
"I will take 50 chickens and 10 sheep."
The old man glanced at Ezra, a bit surprised seeing Ezra being serious.
"Alright, it will cost extra Credits to get it delivered, where do you want it delivered."
"Don't worry, I will sort the delivery my self. Just help separate the chickens into five places. Ten in each place. And the sheep into five places, two in each place."
The old man nodded his head and without another word, went into his store to prepare the stuffs.
The old man came out soon after, carrying a cage with five chickens in them.
The chickens were fully grown but not particularly very large. However, Ezra didn't mind.
He took on one cage on one hand and on another hand, a second cage. Afterwards, he headed towards the secluded place he had found in the market and then placed the cages in a safe place where no one could find them and went back to the old man's store.
The entire trip of going and coming took Ezra 20 minutes till he transported all of the animals to the secluded corner of the market.
Sweaty and stinky, Ezra panted as he sat on a cemented stone in the secluded space.
