Hunter Examination! 2

As Adam saw this, an idea starts to form on his mind!..

' Can I do the same with my absolute defense?! ' , Adam thought positively!

As Adam contemplates about it, a voice coming from A-rank hunter resounded again saying that they only have 1 minutes left!

So Adam had no choice but to give it a try, he cant think of any other plan aside from it. He had to persevere!

Firstly, Adam activate the absolute defense and a plate-size golden shield appeared before him. After that, he starts inserting more mana into the skill.

If before he can only activate the shield for 5 minutes due to his low mana when he was still an F-rank, now he had enough to keep the shield activated for 10 minutes long!

But as he was inserting more mana in the skill, the rate of depletion of his mana was so fast!

Soon, the shield starts to grew larger and larger, but at the same time, Adam's mana was near depleting!

Adam perseveres until he was completely out of mana, then reached for his bag to take a mana potion amidst the domineering aura!

But before he could even get a mana potion, he was push by the aura causing the stuffs on his bakcpack, to toss out! The mana potion, health potion and other stuffs are now laying on the floor!

' tssk, shit! ' , adam mumbles

Adam was now losing his vitality as he was depleted of mana and the skill was now draining his vitality instead of mana!

He was nearing on collapsing from the pressure of both the aura and having his vitality depleted!

Soon, Adam was nearly half depleted of his vitality. So he began feeling sleepy and starts to lose focus!

As Adam was about to pass out, he saw someone kicks a mana potion towards him, and three bottles of mana potions are now rolling in front of him!

Adam had no time to look at who kicks the bottle and instead, drank the mana potion continuosly!

Meanwhile, the shield was continously absorbing his mana, and it grew larger and larger until it was now 2 meters long!

' Its not enough! ', Adam thought boldly as the shield was not enough to cover his whole body!

Adam continously drank the three bottle of mana potion until finally, the shield stops draining his mana and was now the six meters long! Enough to cover his whole body!

Simultaneously, an announcement appeared on Adam's mind which brought him much delight!

[ Skill Absolute Defense ( level 2 ) ]

The skill was now level 2! Before, during his practice, Adam already reached enough proficiency on the skill but still he wasnt able to level up the skill as he still needs deeper comprehension of it!

Adam's moment of jubilation was interrupted as the voice of the A rank hunter rang again.

" 20 seconds remaining! "

What transpired may seems long, but it actually occur within 40 seconds of time span!

Adam now began standing up, but because he was nearly depleted of vitality he find it hard to even stood up!

Also, the aura was not completely blocked, but just lessen due to absolute defense intervention!

Soon, 10 seconds had passed and Adam was only halfway to standing up!

' Persevere, persevere! ' , Adam repeatedly mumbles on his mind.

" 5 seconds left! ", A rank hunter shouted

Adam's enthusiast was now piqued and he starts to force himself to stand up... A voice comes out of his mouth as he was forcing himself..

" Ahhhhhhh"

" 4 seconds remaining! "

" I can do this! "

" 3 seconds remaining! "

" Persevere! "

" 2 seconds remaining "

" Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! "

" 1 seconds remaining! "

" I made it! "

Adam shouted so loudly that his voice had echoed allthroughout the venue! Catching the attention of other hunters! But he didnt care, as feeling of triumphant surge on him!

Once again, the voice of the A rank hunter rang, as the countdown ended.

" Congratulations to all of those who are standing right now! You passed the second test! ", the A rank hunter said as he began withdrewing his aura.
