First Day On The School. Maybe
From Ryuma's point of view, the guy had an eyebags under his eyes. The pupil on his eyes too was nothing but pitch black. Ryuma can understand that he really is not an ordinary person. As the guy blew off another smoke in his mouth he began to speak again.
"Your name... what's your name?" Ryuma is so focused on him that he can't even hear what the guy says.
"Ah! Ry-Ryuma. Ryuma Ochirou."
"Hmm... Kochigawa Tennisuke. You can call me Ten... if that's what you want."
"Huh... sure. Say, based on your name are you from Hana? Or Shizuku?"
"Hmm... My father is from Shizuku. And my mother is from Terisu. But I was born in Egil City." Said Ten while blowing off another smoke from his mouth. Ryuma realized that Ten must be about the same age as him. So he tried to question him about smoking.
"Say, aren't you underage? Do your parents even allow you to smoke?" Said Ryuma. Ten blew off another smoke.
"*Sigh* Don't mind it too much... It's not like they're here to warn me off..." Ten brings a box of cigarettes and gives one of the cigarettes to Ryuma.
"You smoke? I've got one for you."
"Nah, I don't smoke. The first time I tried it out, I had a breathing problem when running. I don't like that feeling so I'll pass." Ryuma politely rejects Ten's invitation. Ten then put his cigarettes back into the box.
"Hmm... It's fine then... Say, Isn't this sight quite calming? Two full moons emanating its lights beside each other among the countless stars in the sky. And the town... you can barely see it from here but you can tell from the lights. Tonight is yet... another peaceful time for this place."
Ryuma only looks at Ten in silence. A few seconds later, Ryuma opens his mouth...
"What are you implying?" Ten blew off another smoke while facing upwards.
"Well... shouldn't you enjoy these peaceful times while you can? At least, you don't get tired at times like these..." Ten sighed while facing down.
"What a weird guy..." Said Ryuma.
"*Ding Dong*" A room's bell echoes around the room.
"Welp, you had a guest. Now then, I better go to sleep too." As Ten was about to enter his room, he spoke another word...
"And Ryuma... Enjoy these peaceful times when you can... because you don't know when these times will end..." Ten then, go into his room. Ryuma too goes to his front door. After he opened it there was a guy in front of his room.
"Yo, Ryuma. Long time no... SEE!!!" Ryuma got kicked in his abdomen. After that, he collapses on the floor. Holding his stomach.
"That's for kicking me earlier dipshit!" It was Rio who had just kicked Ryuma. Rio then casually enters his room.
"Sorry for barging in~" Rio enters the room and jumps onto Ryuma's bed.
(Ten was right. I should've enjoyed the peacefulness before this guy came in...)
"Oi, you fucking bitch! Kicked the owner's stomach and entered his room without permission?! You might as well call yourself a thug!" Screams Ryuma while still holding his stomach.
"Ehh~ But there's nothing to do~ My relationship with people here is not really that close."
"Eh, what do you mean?" Said Ryuma while standing up from Rio's gut kicks earlier.
"I mean... the people here are not really that friendly. Including you and me, there are only about eight students at this school. Valena is ignoring me most of the time. Derugo keeps playing with his dolls. Meryna is too creepy. And Ten... that guy... It kept getting awkward whenever we had a conversation."
"So the most friendly guy here is Huto and Rudy. Except... Rudy is a bit of a ****" Said Rio with veins popping up from his head.
"Whoa! Chill there, bro! What did that guy do to you?"
"That guy... keeps using me as his lab rats! Whenever he asked for help, most of the time I would leave the room with a black dust covering all over me!!! Next time I see that guy..."
("Makes sense... Rudy is a bit of a prankster. But he's not a bad person")
"By the way Rio, how the hell you ended up studying in this school? I thought you were studying in that prestigious swordsman school no?"
"*Sigh* That's the worst part. It all went well. I've got friends and had no problem with academics and sports. Even my sword's skill is getting better. And then..." Rio goes into a flashback when he is training with his sword. And then a woman came up to him.
"Rio, you're dropping from this school." Rio's face turned pale as she said that.
"MY AUNT JUST CAME UP AND FORCIBLY DROPPED ME OFF FROM THAT SCHOOL!!! I HAVEN'T EVEN SAID ANYTHING YET AND SHE SEND ME TO THIS DAMN SCHOOL!!! EVEN DAD AND MOM DIDN'T DEFEND ME FROM THAT FEROCIOUS DEMON!!!"
"Oof that's rough buddy." Said Ryuma while he tapped on Rio's back.
"I KNOW RIGHT?!! UNTIL THEN... AMONG THE PEOPLE I WAS FRIENDLY WITH IS EITHER THE STAFF OR TEACHER. And maybe Huto because he's the most friendly here."
Both Ryuma and Rio keep talking until midnight. Rio then left the room. Ryuma once again lies on his bed to go to sleep.
("Rio said this before he left the room...")
"When I entered this school I thought I was here to learn something meaningless..."
"Hmm? What do you mean?" Said Ryuma with curious eyes.
"You'll see tomorrow. You're in for the big ride my guy." Rio left Ryuma with a questionable face.
("I wonder... what's the class is gonna be tomorrow...")
Tomorrow morning, Ryuma opened his eyes and realized that he overslept.
"I'm late I'm late I'm late I'm late!!!" Ryuma ran out to the class at full speed.
"Fuh fuh fuh... Good thing they let students wear casual clothes at this school! Hmm... If I remember correctly the classroom was on the third floor right?" Ryuma just arrived in front of the classroom. His heartbeat is beating fast. Not knowing what fate lies across the door, he encourages himself and opens the door.
"I'm sorry I'm late!" All the eyes inside the class diverted their attention towards Ryuma. But Ryuma felt something was wrong.
"Including you and me, there's only about eight students at this school." That's what Rio tells him. But that is not the case because the number of students just increased by more than twofold.
"Wait... one, two, three... Wait! Including me, there are about eighteen students in this school!!!?"
