Defeated By His Own Power

"Wrath Of Lightning And Thunder!!!" Rioga, used the powerful technique of what they called the RULE. And then, from Kiyo's location, he interrupts both Ryuma and Derugo's fight as he stands between them. 

Rioga Tenjiro, the person who was supposed to have no limbs, in some way or another was able to generate the limbs for himself as he stood on his two feet. But Ryuma noticed that Rio's limbs had an unusual color. In fact, that is not a normal limb, that's what comes into Ryuma's mind just now.

Rio, turned his head towards Derugo who was filled with wrath and surrounded him in the form of Purple Fire. Then, a slight motion from Rio made Derugo aware that he was going to attack him as soon as he had his guard up.

But in the span of a moment, Derugo couldn't see it at the moment. But his left hand was decapitated from him in an instant. Derugo who just lost his arm immediately backed off but Rio's movement was so fast he barely saw himself getting hit right on his rib.

"Do you think... YOU CAN BEAT ME?!!" Derugo snapped and immediately released the Purple Fire to his surroundings. Ryuma couldn't do anything because the air was filled with an aura of electricity along the sea of Purple Fire.

But Derugo knew in fact Rio didn't run away from him as he charged towards him at full speed. Rio's arm grew a sharp claw as it just clawed half of Derugo's face in an instant. Everything moves at a slow movement for a second, as Derugo sees Rio lift his claw, he's sure this hit will finish him for good.

(Gah! I couldn't see it! He suddenly becomes so fast it's actually hard to see it. This power comes from him, this is definitely a RULE! Should I use it? Should I use my own RULE too?!)

This time, Rio managed to push Derugo to the edge of being overwhelmed. Derugo on the other hand, was desperate at the same time, he was about to shout the word that start with 'R' but then...

"Hahahaha~! Don't take the big fish all for yourselves!" 

"Wha- Meryna!" Derugo didn't expect Meryna will be the one to save him. And more of it, she was able to bypass both air filled with electricity and a sea of Purple Fire. Rio got caught off guard as he was pierced by multiple daggers from his back but he managed to fend Meryna off.

"Needle Novella~" But at the tip of each dagger lies something that has come inside his body. Rio for a moment couldn't move a single nerve. Ryuma who's watching from a third person noticed a certain somebody that comes from above.

"Rio! Above you!" Ryuma tried to jump in the fight but for the most part, it was the electricity that interrupted his nervous system as his leg was paralyzed for a bit. But Rio heard Ryuma's warning voice, he then took a deep breath and released the massive aura of electricity.

Massive enough to push the three, Ryuma, Derugo, and Meryna away from him. As for the certain someone who tried to ambush Rio from above, he missed by an inch from Rio's vital spot as he slashed Rio's shoulder.

"I... Got... You..." Said Rio as he tried to pierce the certain somebody with his claw, Ten. Ten on the other hand, decides to come close to Rio with the machete on his hand. Like he did to Hutogi, Ten is using the same moves against Rio. And then...

"This, Pure Lightning huh?" Rio's chest was pierced by something sharp. Ten's whole nerve was tingling as he was stabbed by the blade of pure lightning into his body. Thankfully in Ten's case, the part he was stabbed at wasn't fatal.

Ten's keen eyes also anticipated multiple blades of pure lightning flying towards him from Rio's behind. But first, he deals with what's in front of him first. 

Rio didn't expect the counter as he barely evaded, his own claw that was trying to pierce his own head. Ten uses his wormhole to misdirect Rio's attack onto himself. And... that goes the same for the multiple blades of pure lightning trying to stab him at the same time.

Ten was able to anticipate the exact spot the blade was trying to pierce him and misdirect it with the mirror wormhole. Rio then realized that his whole body was pierced with his own blade of pure lightning as it pierced him from multiple parts of his body.

And then, Rio who's been hit by his own attack exploded, creating a massive impact of electricity on the roof. Ryuma barely clinging to the roof by sheer will. And the next thing Ryuma sees after the massive impact is... Rio, lost his limbs... and also his life.

Derugo and Meryna were nowhere to be seen, perhaps they were thrown back by the massive force too. Seeing he's alone at the moment, Ryuma takes a look at the lifeless body.

"When pure electricity collides each other with a certain amount of force, it'll create the magnetic field and also the output which causes the impact to its surroundings. Rioga Tenjiro was defeated by his own power. Because I use it against him. Nothing more, nothing less. He was defeated with an honor like how Hutogi do the same to him."

Ryuma fell silent at the moment when he looked at Rio's lifeless body. At the same time, he sees the burning wound on Rio's shoulder. The same burning wound on his own body that was caused by the Purple Fire.
