"H..how?" It asked, with its voice filled with shock.

To be honest, I am a little shocked too. I had kind of expected to take a step back and even prepared to blast away, if I am wrong, instead the opposite happened.

I bore its attack, with only a shake.

I am still having a hard time believing; that I managed that and looking at my core, where I am seeing how my armor reacted.

The force breakage and distraction had worked better than I thought. Those little formations of ancient runes, I had added, had helped the formation of common runes effectively break the force and same time, isolated me from it.

I didn't look at how energy-perfect the attack performed. My armor specializes in dealing with energy; there is no need to look at it.
