It's dangerous, but I have no choice. I am very weak. I couldn't deal with it.

The cylinder appeared on the stone disk as it did. All the runes on it lit and began to absorb energies released from the hexagonal crystal.

It is not absorbing, but pulling the energies out, not only from the crystal, but also from the body.

The body had absorbed a massive amount of energy and was at the limit of breaking. If it did, it would explode with all the energy and that would be bad.

The stone removes that possibility by absorbing the energies.
