Another injury cut across my body, and it was too close to my chest; if it had been a few inches higher, I would have been in real danger.

I wish I could say this is the first time I have received a such injury, not I did not; I have received such injuries more than ten times. The only reason I was able to avoid them was because of my armor.

It had taken away a lot of momentum from the attacks and changed the directions instead of bluntly defending against them. Otherwise, in front of such huge weapons, I would have turned into minced meat.
