CRRYYYYY!

The loud sharp cry rang out through the sky and all the monsters who were fighting had stopped before beginning to retreat.

Hundreds of people chased them in their fury, but I didn't move from the spot. I didn't even kill the monster I was fighting. I let it escape.

I saw no need for that. I have killed the monsters, I needed to and didn't feel like, I needed to kill more.

While others chased, I sat down and looked at the meta-scan and data appeared in front of me. I had always recorded myself and the battle was an important test to see if there was any problem with the life force I was absorbing.

There is none, as far as I could see, everything is looking perfect.
