"Marie is not crazy; that matter just blew out of proportion and sprouted a thousand rumors," the Old man said dismissingly. "Really? There must be some truth in all those rumors?" I asked and to which he nodded.

"Yes, there is some truth, but most of what she did was harmless, and she had been extremly careful. If not for that, the council wouldn't have let her go with just a slap on the wrist," He said, and I am not convinced; the rumors I had heard were quite vivid.

"You have enough access, so read about the case, and if you still don't think she deserves a chance, then you can choose someone else," he said.

I couldn't help but become surprised by his recommendation; it seemed like he knew the women well. I added her name to the list of people I have to interview, though I will first read about the whole case as he recommended.
