Chapter 71 Bleed

Aidan retreated back, and so did the beast.

Their chest went up and down, and they were covered in blood.

Aidan had a lot of claw marks over his body and face. He didn't want to use the healing skill since it used a lot of energy.

In fact, he almost ran out of energy right now.

The beast had it worse it seemed. Its right front legs limped in pain. Aidan had focused on attacking that leg since the start of the battle.

He couldn't deal a deadly blow to the beast, so he wanted to grind its hp down.

[Analyze]!

<<Adult Doomhound (Lv. 23)>>

HP: 780

Energy: 78

Skills: [Acid Spit]

For some reason, the monster didn't use the [Acid Spit] skill at all. Did it figure that Aidan was too fast?

Aidan had always been wary of that skill. He was always ready to dodge any time the beast opened its mouth.

He took a deep breath, and rushed forward. Aidan would kill that right leg, but first, he wanted to distract the beast into thinking that the leg wasn't his target.
